preemptive glare of disapproval to whoever gets shrubbed this month
Shiri2007-06-06 09:59:20
Ha. Optimistic.

Gelo's work with Shanth is amazing. Kudos!

I really like Gelo's work, but I think Tenebrae's is a bit iffy. There is no IC basis whatsoever for gravestones to be cross-shaped.

Except I think they have them IG. I remember thinking that way back when. But I thought maybe it was in refrence to the Nihilists crucifixtions

This is supposed to be in the Oleanvir Valley. Celest would have no reason to mark the resting places of their dead with crucifixes.

Look IG at the Celestian grave stones that they create on players. Some reason I remember them being a bit ooc.

Also, browsing through the entries - I see no fur (she's a furrikin) or frustration on Sini's "self-portrait".
Feyrll2007-06-06 21:55:21
There were so many great entries this month, but I was blown out of the water by Sini's self portrait. Good thing I finished when I did!
Arix2007-06-07 02:54:04
the crucifixion crosses are X-shaped
Gelo2007-06-07 06:23:09
Thanks!
I dont really intend to join, but Gero and I needed credits for a manse and an aethership. So I took my chance and hoped to win something. Whee!

I simply loved Kharaen's(simply cute, and novel idea) and Sarin's(the style of drawing) this time around.

Yeah really..

I the bardics this time around, though I'd never have the nerve to do what Marina did and actually use real people for my characters-- I always worry that I'll get some detail wrong, or someone will get upset about the whole matter, or something.
I loved Sarin's druidess-- she looked all delicate and pretty. I'm always astounded by the artisanals. With the bardics I can go, "OK, this could have been done better" or "I'd have done it that way" but with artisanals I just go and faint (me=can't draw to save my life).

I just wanted to say that I love the Artisanal contest.
It forces me to sit down and actually read the descriptions of the rooms, which I previously was just running around through. And reading the descriptions is actually very enjoyable, and I'm greatly impressed by them.
Bad me, for always running through them, without actually taking the time to read them.

It's great that they came out, but I didn't win anything. Also, why were there so little winners? There's usually a handful more.
