Hmm...maybe I should read it then, my Just So story from a while ago was my least horrible bardic effort.

Congratulations, everyone! And hooray, I got a runner up this time. I can finally get Focus Mind.
@Aison: Sorry, I didn't see your comment until I went to post this. I'm glad you like it, and no, that wasn't the end. The final chapters can be read now, as it just went up.

Looking back, I'm sorry to have submitted such a poor piece. My shame!
I swear to work hard on the next one!

I <3 Zia's one about Glomdoring. When put side-by-side with the Glomdoring submissions, it reminds me of what a powerful tool propaganda is.

The ASCII version of the crossword puzzle I submitted is kind of ugly. Look here for a much nicer version, if you're planning on doing the puzzle: Transverse PDF
By the way, the puzzle is entirely made by hand; no computer program can do them worth a damn even without the huge limitations of not using words and acronyms not appropriate to Lusternia. This took me about 60 hours of work in total to make. Definitely not worth how much work it was!

Thanks! I was really impressed by the one that won first place. Looked like Keleigh level of goodness.
Also, keep your eyes out for the next Lusternian flash animation in January 2009!

Congratulations to everyone who got recognized. Marina, nice to see your saga continuing, though I hope it hasn't come to an end.
The scene with the cat was unique, though. Kudos.
Zia, Lowe: in particular, I thought your stories were great. The question I have: when stories conflict with each other, is it a matter of deciding which can be truly be part of Lusterniverse canon? It's one thing when it goes against an established game detail (at least, without consultation), but is canon a consideration that goes into judging these things? I hear three star submissions are generally included into the canon, but what about parts of an award-winning saga?

Its only Canon if it makes it to the world library.
When it enters the world library, notes are made to it about its level of Cannoness.

Hmm... I really need to figure out what they're looking for... I was sure I was up for -something- this time. *grins* You all are just too good to compete with!

Key word is 'story'. When and IF Estarra decides that the story can become canon, we can start worrying about contradictions.
That said - Estarra, you're perfectly welcome to make my stories canon!
And on an unrelated note - holy , it is an iPod! Whoa. Does this mean that absynthe makes you craaaazy? I'm going to giggle about it the rest of the day!

Feyrll's submission is AWESOME. Except the rat has pure white fur. But thats ok. Ermines are not known for being precise.
