I was disappointed...my poem for May was the one I worked the hardest on, but I only got Merit.
I know, I know, some are saying, "You got 50 credits and you're complaining?!"
No, I'm not. It's not about the credits. It's about all the hard work I put in...I was hoping for runner-up...
But meh. In hindsight, it's not as great as I thought. It's back to free verse for me.

It has a really unique style to it, at first glance I did not like it, but when I took the time to study it in more detail it really grew on me.
Each month I remain astounded at the huge amount of talent on display, ever single one is better than I could ever do. Some I could even see framed they are that good. IRE should set up a poster side business

Writing is one thing, but I swear: some people can make the images literally jump off the page. They're the ultimate fantasy portraits. It's a talent I can't hope to come near.
