All digital work done with a mouse, though I wish I had a tablet

Forget the regular tablet I want one of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqee_bB1LxY

Anyone have $2000 I can borrow?

I draw with a mouse too. Well, I do a pencil sketch, then use the pen tool in PS.

The progress is here (also in my scraps on DA):

Goes from pencil sketch, to penned in PS, then base colours, then shading/smudging/other affects. All digital work done with a mouse, though I wish I had a tablet tongue.gif

Amazing as always spoton.gif

That is my goal one day. dazed.gif

... I didn't even know those exist. I need one. Or at least a scanner. Sketching with free mouse is hard....

...Maybe I should at least buy a new mouse. mellow.gif

Scanners are your wonderful friends. I'm pitying the lack of mine right now. sad.gif
Kharaen2009-01-09 02:31:09
Don't really need a scanner of your own. If you go to school/university, you can use their scanners. Even if you don't go, pretend you're a student and do it tongue.gif Or go to an internet cafe. It's cheaper than buying the actual machine -.-
Fania2009-01-13 16:29:44
Actually you could buy an old used scanner really cheap. Usually computer repair places have that kind of thing for sale. I'd say Craigslist too, but I'm weary about buying anything electronic used. Buying at a computer repair person at least you know they'll be there tomorrow. (Well you could anyways before the economic crisis)

Attention all would-be art thieves and admin:

http://tineye.com/

Reverse image search engine! Recently stumbled onto this, its really cool. TinEye is the first web-based image search engine to use image identification tech. Woot!
Saaga2009-03-22 21:27:30
Looks handy! Thanks for sharing.

Wait, so I can submit my arts to it too for it too, in order to prevent someone from copying my art?
Unknown2009-03-22 21:32:18
Think its added to their database if you make a search for it.
Saaga2009-03-22 21:33:02
Great!

(clan): Balizar says, "Can someone give the winnnerss bardic/artisanals thread a subtle bump."
Shaddus2009-04-17 16:10:32
Fixed. Ooer, though I didn't win anything.
Fania2009-04-17 16:24:23
I updated my post in Artisanal Council Ranks to reflect the new winners. (I haven't seen anyone, including Kharaen d'Attai update it recently, so I've been doing it).
