Three days ago:
me: "Oh my god! The artisanals are due in five days!"
muse: "... What?"
me: "You hear me! I need to draw something quick!"
muse: "Anything you do at such short notice would not be worthwhile. You hardly have enough time as it is..."
me: "Well... What should I do?"
muse: "Make due with what you have. You remember that picture you meant to submit over a year ago? Why not submit that now?"
me: "... That's tacky."
muse: *bursts into demonic flames and grows to gigantic proportions* "DO IT!!!"
Remind me not to forget next time... So I can give really good work!

is it alright to post artisnal work on the forums, before you've submited it to the contest. or should I wait till after?

Plenty of people have posted their submissions here as works-in-progress or completed pieces in advance of the contests ending. If you want constructive criticism (or just want to show off, heh) go for it.
Daganev2005-11-10 19:53:12
If you show it off early, your less likely to win unless its AMAZING.
I only say this because the "first impression" will be lost when it comes to judgging it.

Jeez yeah. I've been trying to do a decent picture of her for a while.
Navaryn2005-12-03 04:51:08
I don't know what's funnier. The fact that Ixchilgal submitted his love poems addressed to Munsia as Bardic entry or the fact that he actually won something with them

Congrats Ialie (!, not reading that story, but good job ), Catarin, Derian, Aleron, Vaerias, Ashar, Jasper, Carolan, Sekreh, Kaileigh (no one is surprised), Eyod (I liked this one a lot, never knew you were an artist), Iraen, Folken, Gelo, Alger (you should've submitted your moggy, Faelingis good too but I liked the aslaran better), Visaas, Vauraugli, and Daganev.
(Iraen's is so cute with the livestock entourage. Hee. I liked this round of artisanal better than most. )

have to give credit to Tsuki, her forum game gave me the idea. I'd like to do the rest of the soulless too.

I actually like that one better than your usual, too, by the way (Not that I dislike your usual.)
Unknown2006-01-05 06:56:21
I still have much for your Viravain pic.
Sekreh2006-01-05 07:56:22
I absolutely cannot believe they chose mine. Read it and find out why heh.
I wrote that at 3am two days before the due date because I felt the need to submit SOMETHING. Oh dear. Thanks?
