Perhaps Daevos is doing a Chade and trying to ingratiate himself with the other side so he can get backup if he needs it, and Celest is giving in because...Magnagora's too strong? Or something. Probably not that, but I'm just interested exactly what it is. "You did it too" doesn't really cut it.

It has to do with the fact that it is impossible for Magnagora to influence Rockholm or Southgard.

Celest grew stronger by accepting the aide of Magnagora, thus the light increased. IpsoFacto the Taint did not.
