And really, its Elaria, who holds no position of power.

The problem concerning her in Rockholm is more over her condoning Serenwilde influencing the village. When it appears that was not a position held by the rest of Celest. From the perspective of my character, which is really irrelevant, I preferred the previous arrangement of us holding Southguard and Celest holding Rockholm.
Rhysus2005-02-06 19:08:24
That's not really an issue for the boards, Shiri. Suffice to say my displeasure over the incident was made tangible.

Um...Guys? This is just getting dumb. Sorry Raan, were you even present? We were going to influence Southgard regardless of whether Magnagora was even there. When Magnagora arrived, we even fought WITH the Seren against them. But, you know, when Magnagora decided to kill only Seren, and, guess what, the Seren were still attacking -us-...The situation became untenable at best. So the orders were issued not to get involved. We stuck to influencing alone best we could. Was there an incident or two? Sure. But the same can be said of both sides, and punishments were doled out to those that made poor decisions.

I was there... but im (meaning RAAN) not generally objective when it comes to Celest...

Um. Raan. Please do not launch into an anti-Rhysus campaign when you can barely write a coherent post.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If I were in Celest, and you had any authority over me... I might consider it. You cant blame me for not being coherant at the moment. I haven slept in four days.

Fair point, I suppose. It wasn't in Celest's logs, is all.

This is OOC. You don't need to be in Celest IC for him to make a reasonable suggestion OOC. If you haven't slept in four days, then it's probably best not to post, because you're not in a clear state and mind and don't really know what you're talking about. (Apparently.)

Shush you... its better than picking a fight with a six foot five tongan named osuwe. My response was that to Rhysus attack on Shiro... and I havent been in realms since this just barely started so forgive me for not keeping up entirely.

Attacking someone's argument based upon its coherency or lack of grammar/spelling is itself a rather poor tactic. It does nothing to counter any point the person was trying to make and will not change their outlook in anyway. The best course of action is to either ignore them or ask that their opinion be presented in a more legible manner.

I dont believe that really happened, since both Jerah and Aether were there. They are both Celestian influencers and besides, Magnagora could not influence Rockholm because of the rule change. I also spoke to Tuek about it, and he told me specifically that Celest was not giving Serenwilde Rockholm, they were taking it.

Yeah, but it's Tuek, give me a break. If Tuek was the kid in that 1980 Coke commercial, it'd be all like...
Mean Joe says, "Hey kid, catch."
*Mean Joe throws the jersey*
Tuek says, "Haha, I've got your jersey! You suck Mean Joe!"
*Tuek runs off into the bleachers giggling maniacally*

Please tell me Elaria isn't being raked over for making a decision in Rockholm when there were no other leaders there to either back her up or take an opposing stance.

I think Magnagora's actions made perfect sense. In fact, they were masterfully planned, this thread is evidence of their sucess in a sense (not to blur IC and OOC)
They attacked Serens, not Celestians, Serens only. Celestians and Serens engage in some influence-related quabble. Magnagora only attacks Serens, making Serens think that there is some sort of alliance between Magnagora and Celest, or at least some sort of cooperation. In a sense there is, but it is solely the Magnagorans who are responsible for it. Reaction: Serens sever ties with Celest. Effect: United front against Magnagora broken, perhaps permanently and at least for a fair amount of time.
Not only was it a masterful plan, it seems to have worked perfectly. OOC props to the Magnagorans.

Not really, at least not as it seems in the Serenwilde. There are a few who are angered by it but only a few as far as I can tell. My character is somewhat pissed about it but that is keeping with the RP I have established for him. Up until this point Elaria was one of the few city folk Cronnacht had ever interacted with and he actually thought well of her.

Wow, Rhysus, I'm sorry for acting IC towards you as my character Tuek would act, I did not realize you'd be so petty and childish as to take it offensively OOCly.
Rhysus2005-02-06 19:59:32
I...didn't? I was talking about your character? And making a joke?
Unknown2005-02-06 20:03:54
And how would that be Tuek? Tuek's entire interaction with Rhysus was simply informing him that the rift from the Ethereal Serenwilde to New Celest was being removed, and that Serenwilde could no longer trust city filth.

This amuses me to no end. If I hadn't been having a damn good time OOC yesterday, I'd wish I'd been here for all this. Seren, who has swung between city powers at a whim and ad nauseum (despite their historical incentive to dislike ALL cities) is mad because some of their citizens pissed of Magnagora + they tried to 'screw Celest' leading to cooperation between the two cities? And somehow Seren cries RP foul on Celest and Magnagora cooperating, whereas their constant unofficial alliances with cities since the start of the game are perfectly valid!
I am amused! Thanks guys, I don't even need to enter the realm to be entertained!

OKAY!
After bouncing between city-city-city and blatantly disregarding their history, the Serenwilde happens to be mad at us for...bad roleplay?
Enough said.

I'm not sure where this bouncing from city to city idea comes from. We took more sides with Magnagora after they, unprovoked, helped to restore the Fae girl after the Celestians attacked us, and were more closely allied with Celest when it was necessary for us to survive because Magnagora'd made war on us.
When, recently, had Magnagora helped Celest like that? Or vice versa?

I recall the Serenwilde originally allying with Magnagora after they helped to find that poem thing, and then a war in which you allied with Celest, and then after the war, you unenemied everyone and went back to being all happy.
