For every hour I spend in game, I think I spend 6 on the forums.

Damn - I made a rough calculation. Now, this is a flawed calculation, but here's some interesting info.
I write about 250-350 words every 10 minutes when doing word sprints for my novel (no, I do not dream of publishing this beast - it's awful - but I'm learning a lot).
Using an estimate of 300 words on average - 6 runs of 10 minutes (1 hour) is 1800 words. A normal sized novel is 90k-120k words.
Going on 100k words, 1800 words an hour, it takes 55 5/9 hours to write a complete rough draft.

You have played for a total of 18 days, 8 hours and 25 minutes.
440 5/12 hours - just shy of 8 rough drafts of novels, or for the sake of argument stating that editing takes as much time as a rough draft, 4 workable drafts of novels.
Damn - I've wasted a lot of time.

I will shed my tears later.
Most people that I notice leaving are those who pout because they
don't rule the whole world anymore or can push everyone around
or because they begin to notice that their actions do have
consequences. When I look at some of the complaints here in
this forum I really wonder where some people live or who they
think they are.
SirVLCIV is right, I also feel disgusted when some very few people
spoil the fun of 95% of the players. I think I remember a similar
complaint from me when this war between Magnagora and Serenwilde
started. I fail to see that this is the case now. Of course I might be
wrong about Tuek and Narsrim but I don't think that they hunt
random people. It rather looks to me that they now return the
favours many of Magnagora granted us.

Geez.. if you call that amount a waste of time, you don't want to know how much others have been in realms.

TOR... the publishing company of Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkind, yes? God bless them
Rauros2005-02-10 22:29:10
Tor? Wow, good luck Rexali. Some of my favorite Piers Anthony books were published by Tor

Unfortunately.... it's not sci-fi/fantasy intensive (the editor I would be working under) - mystery/historical/women's fiction/thriller/minimal fantasy/sci-fi - I don't care, however I still want it
