I've checked hallucinations and I did flee in fear although it is very rare.

I'm not exactly sure that Thorgal was 100% sure that it was going to happen but at the same time, he manipulated the situation to ensure that if it -did- happen, it would work to his benefit. As he has said he will not do it again, I suppose this is a dead issue but if he ever does it again, I would suggest someone report it.
