Faeriefire temporarily disables all methods of shrouding yourself. Much like that one rune.

...WHO told me it was for making people easier to hit? >_<

Deal with the monos. Other than that, it looks good to me.
But I'm not a moondancer, so duno.

1. Have brownie keep tickling but randomly somersault into the target causing a greater balance loss.

2. Masks or Fae tattoos that boosts stats

3.Moonburst is trans. Banshee is fabled. There should be some other attack skill other than curse between there.
Shiri2005-02-12 02:59:34
Not sure what you mean by point 3. Moonburst isn't even in the same skillset. And there's Crone and Pooka and stuff. Point 2 = not so good. Point 1 = good.

Banshee is the first skill that does damage in wicca and it is at fabled. To my knowledge the only skill that does damage (physical) in moon is Moonburst. So all there is is nature's curse which is what you get during novicehood. There is no other form of attck.
Shiri2005-02-12 03:13:35
Crone and Pooka are attacks. Guardians (and Wiccans) are more affliction classes than damage classes like knights. That's the idea, anyway. Look at Celestines. Radiance, Cosmicfire, that's about it.

Nihilist damaging attacks:
cosmicfire
crucify.

Moondancer damaging attacks:
nature curse
moonburst.

Celestine damaging attacks:
cosmicfire
(radiance? I've no idea what that is huh.gif)

We are meant to kill by overwhelming people through afflictions. Unfortunatly a lot of people aren't phased by afflictions anymore. Its why guardian classes were incredibly "overpowered" to begin with but now that people have got triggers for most of the effects, its like fighting a raja knight using longswords. Annoying, but curable.

This is the list of afflictions I can give with fabled wicca and expert moon.

You forgot torture.
Drago2005-02-12 03:26:58
I forgot torture because I never use it.

And skills aren't meant to be balance at low skillranks. If you want to gauge a class' strength, you need to do it at -least- at triple trans in guild skills.

A nihilist with fabled nihilism and expert necromancy can't do very much either, compared to a triple-trans nihilist.

Its the way of the world.
Shiri2005-02-12 03:38:10
And you can't do anything against a warrior without great combat and resilience on top of that.

Just to clarify, Drago, Radiance is a think Celestines do where they hurt undead a lot.
Silvanus2005-02-12 03:45:43
I think the only upgrade Moondancers need is slyph fixed, and hexes more useful.
Elryn2005-02-12 03:52:42
Um, this isn't about upgrading Moondancers in general... I'm just tossing around some ideas for changes to Wicca. It will be updated in time just like many of the other skills have been, and these are some suggestions for that process.

I really don't want to have to get into the same old arguments about Moondancers being too godly for upgrades and so on.
