Best Roleplay Experience in Lusternia

I know I haven't been in Lusternia very long, and I am sure I miss out on a great deal of events and activities. From what I have seen role play is a little lacking, especially the small day to day interactions between characters.

I was wondering who is considered the best role player in Lusternia? What guild or organization is considered the best with their roles? Finally, what has been your best role play experience in Lusternia?

If this subject has been brought up before, I'm sorry!

I'd say RPing anything with Lyren, Jerah, or Rhysus has been pretty interesting for me, even if it was only a little conversation or something.

Also, me being kidnapped (twice...) was fun.

Hmm. Probably with Jack, actually. That was more of a personal thing, though, since I don't think either of us are particularly well known or popular. (Well, he might be, I don't know for sure.)

When the Demon Lord Gorgulu, went psycho, and killed most of the demon lords, when the Tainted Fae appeared. I loved it!

The Gaudi thing was awesome, then it kinda fell through due to not being able to go anywhere. Im working in the druids now, trying to increase the quality of guild RP, give it more flavour. Kinda hard to do with Gregori always taking stabs at me whenever I try to accomplish anything, but meh, I try. I would have to say the best roleplayers I know and have dealt with (on Ak and my alt) are Alister, Flynt, Gwylifar, Lisaera, Isune, Rhysus, Karrah, Kharvik and Ellara. Merloch (Gregori too) is a pretty good roleplayer, though controvesial at times, and Ak often disagrees with him. Destridas was/is a fairly good RPer.

Worst RPers:
Munsia
Revan (or was it Ravin? I always confuse the two)
Yrael
Nikua
Annabelle

Lyren had a cool thing going when she changed to merian from faeling. I admit the RP is sometimes lacking, though
Shiri2005-02-11 17:57:32
Yrael's not a bad RPer. He's just psychotic. happy.gif

some of my favourite things are the little spontaneous ones. Like when Alnra wanted to brush and braid my hair because it's mussy. We chattered for a while about it, and tried to find a brush...

Or just talkign to people about philosophy, or helping the novices learn some RP by talking about my life with them.

Those are the best.

I'd say the most fun I've had RPing is with me. Sorry.

There were a few times that I enjoyed the RP with Lacostian and Raezon, and when two other Divine progressed my own RP, those were enjoyable also.

I hated it with a awe-inspiring passion that knows no bounds.

Daevos is a good roleplayer too, but I utterly despise his leadership style...
Rhysus2005-02-11 19:23:08
Hmm. Dealing with Terentia after the whole Visaeris thing was interesting roleplay. (Bad god! Down! No supper for you!) My conversation with Lacostian when I initially applied to be in His Order (before realizing His stance on the Taint) was also relatively enjoyable. I find most interaction with other mortals to be subpar, though Daevos, Merloch, Brona, Nejii in the one sustained conversation I had with him, Lyren, Jerah, Etanru, and Erion hold their own.

The Fae incident was probably my favorite RP conflict thus far. Though it sucked for Rhysus, I was probably the only player in Celest not singing gloom and doom over the whole thing. Masochism, what can I say.

You forgot Flynt. Who was there too and doin' better than me. happy.gif
Rhysus2005-02-11 19:31:53
That was his name. I couldn't for the life of me recall it. I just found it funny that I could walk to Elohora, sit there for like, 15 minutes listening to you two talk about me and Celest and all this stuff without saying a word and no one noticed me until I piped up and started saying stuff.
Shiri2005-02-11 19:33:55
Yeah, damn invisible people! angry.gif I was like...damn...he better not have been there the whole time. >_<

From what little I have seen, Gwylifar seems a competent role player. Flynt and Tirenae as well. They do the little things that make their character come to life more, as I do. From things so small as having a care where you fall asleep and how, interaction with NPC's, clothing concerns (such as acknowledging your clothes are wet if you just swam through the river)...and they observe common courtesy as well. Flynt is great fun to have wrestling matches with, playing a perfect older brother type. Tirenae is gruff and grumpy, but plays along with Etain and her silly antics to make him smile.

The little interaction Etain has had with Merloch leads me to believe he is a consumate role player too, he puts off the good ol' scary GM vibe. *g*

Thanks for all the responses! There is hope! smile.gif

Gwylifar? How'd I miss him? angry.gif Sorry Gwyl. And Jerah and Lyren and, um...Eldril and Eldanien! And Tarielenwe. And lotsa others. happy.gif

Best experience? Quite a few to choose from.

Being plagued by Raezon was interesting. Any interaction with Merloch is good. The fae girl incendent was entertaining overall, especially the verbal sparring with Alyvia.

Gregori ......Torak was interesting for the little conversation we had.... *ponder* Lomdomnian BERRYBERRY THORNTREE!! ..... and.. um.. *cough*.. forget I said anything.
