Gwylifar's voice is not particularly high or low, or really noticeable in any other auditory trait. But he speaks with very precise enunciation, and his voice is colored by a compelling confidence (most of the time).

Ideally, this sense of presence would have the effect of inspiring people to listen, in those rare cases when he was trying to get them to do so (he was raised to be a leader, but the series of events that led him to the Portals caused him to turn away from that role); but in practice, you can't get people to react like that, particularly for such intangible things.

Laysus sounds like my old physics/electronics teacher, in my mind. Not that that'll tell you much.

I imagined Nementh sounding more or less like Stephen Maturin in the movie Master and Commander/Far Side of the World.

For some reason, I've always imagined Veonira having a deep voice (well, deep for a girl. So it can't be too low) that's..not monotonous, but very calm sounding.

A high pitched whine when he doesnt get his way. A deep, smooth, entirely evil voice when Yrael gloats. Normally? John Howard voice. Dont ask why. Perhaps I can get his eyebrows. INVINCIBLE EYEBROWS! They're like a pentagram/circle, except they're always there!

I picture Lyr with a generally quiet voice - she used to be rather loud and bouncy but she's calmed down quite a bit lately. She's often lost in some trance or other, and so would probably sound rather dreamlike, almost as if you were listening to her through a really thick fog of..something that inhibits hearing. If that makes any sense at all.

I always hear myself as Lenny from "Of Mice and Men" the movie.

Malicia's manner is rather stately..regal even. She's a bit reserved, but determined. Her voice would be soft but clear, with a distinguished air about her. Knightly in a sense- although Alyssandra tries to beat it into me that we aren't knights.

Ak's voice is Canadian meets Texan, and a shred of Brooklyn. It's a bit fast paced, and often sounds overexcited, even when there is no reason to be so.

It's possible to be regal and distinguished and even proper and knightly, without giving up any savagery or any connection to the visceral, primal warrior. Just watch a hunting cat (not, I must emphasize, a domesticated cat). Or, for that matter, an aslaran.

I really want to say Franka Potente but then lots of people will argue that I can't have a German accent. ah well
