All Achaea thrummed with the news of the much-hoped-for return of Ourania to the realms punctuated by a lunar eclipse and the appearance of her three manifestations as Maiden, Matron, and Crone. Speculation runs rampant as to what this return portends.

...that's been in Achaea for ages.

There's so much ranting/bitching/moaning/groaning/whining/munging on this forum, it's hard to decipher when it's lighthearted or not.

I reiterate that forums are the bane of gaming everywhere. Any time there is a message board associated with a forum bad things happen. Maybe I'm crazy but it's true.

I remember from some fantasy thing a title for this one person was Matron Mother. So, perhaps they can be used interchangeably, although thier definitions are not wholly congruent.

That'd be the Drow, R.A Salvatore's books, at a guess. They have Matron Mothers. But if they were interchangeable, why would they call them a Matron Mother? That'd be totally redundant. It'd be like calling them...Faery Fairies. I'm pretty sure the two're different.

That's right, I remember. I only have the entire series of 14 or so books.

A matron is the female form of a Patron. Matron mother would be the mother of all mothers!

Heh well I'm not one at all but the Tripple Goddess isn't only a Wiccan archetype. Oh and that site is ok. Not great, though. there are sites that give the information more correctly and don't have to be condecending about it.

I love it when people bring up wicca, witchcraft, christianity, religions in general, and other forms of self delusion. Its so fun to mess with people like that.

I dont think you are deluded for believing in (insert your belief here). I think you are deluded for believing, period. At the very least you could take belief as a humorous joke. Believe nothing, and believe what others tell you even less.
