Did they change it so you can't get gold multiple times from an honors quest?

I doubt it, but I wish/hope they do/did. People doing honour quests repeatedly ANNOY me.

err well ive done the stewart mansion quest repeatedly and always got 5000 gold for it..

In fact I did it about an hour ago and still got 5000 gold for it!

ive done acknor (alt, mind you) 3 times, and only gotten gold once .

I think they should. I hate it when people just sit around and do the honours quest, log out for an hour or however long it takes for it to reset, do it again, and never let others try them out. I notice that the stewartsville quest is rarely not completed when i go there. I think it has a superlong reset time. It would be nice if that could be changed...

Quests are a competition, people. It's like saying "Oh man, someone bashed out Glomdoring." or "Someone took all the chickens and now I have to wait to do commodity quests."

Yeah, but since honours quests take so long to do, ONE person starting it at the wrong time and taking ONE thing screws most of your work over. With bashing, you can just get the other monsters. Or wait a tiny time till they repop. It's quite different with quests.

Then uhm... complain about repop time then for items. Honours quests are fine. If you're doing a certain honours quest then get most of the required items beforehand.

I agree with the item aspect though. All but one item in your inventory and you have to wait ungodly amounts of time. Maybe set a ratio for the amount of quest items in your inventory versus the other people who have items? (Over-complicating it though.)

I.E.

Shiri has four Tae'dae toys and all of the pills.

Roark has one Tae'dae toy.

Roark -obviously- can't complete the quest, but he holds unto the toy anyway, potentially ruining the quest for Shiri. Instead of this, the system picks up that while Roark only has one toy someone else has the remainder, and the repop time for that item is signficantly increased to return it to its place.

Or we could all be buddy-buddy and ask each other who has what, but we don't want that.

anyway, I'm enemied to Magnagora, so I couldn't do it on Dyr.

Oh you meant recently. Because I know you've done it with Dyr at least once at one point or another.

I don't know if htis was an issue for you, but the Acknor quest repop faster than the corpse of the old chieftan decays.

Say, the chieftan is Vroshnak, and Grang kills him. You wait however long, Vroshnak respawns while Grang is chieftan, but Vroshnak's corpse is still in the pit.

Now, I've found that if you do the quest while the corpse is lying there, you don't get paid for it. You gotta wait until that body is gone. I dunno if this is a bug or not, but it only delays you a few minutes. Just do everything you need to do, then hang out by the corpse until it's gone, and pull the rope. Things will go as planned.

There's a couple of bugs with Acknor that will be fixed as soon as I get time to learn how it works (I have no idea even what it's supposed to do at the moment).
