Those are so cool! I never thought of doing anything like that, doubt I could either.

Ok, I ripped the bodyscan, shoot me tongue.gif We're all using it, yay originality. This is my first 10 minutes of moderate work, I did a bit of photoshop on the profile, was originally a minotaur with a skantily clad, leather sorceress (hrm, a shame it had to go) and I added the black so it had that cahute orange outline, the name was wod perfect with some photoshop 5.5. Although when I shrunk it that white outline came, but I'm too lazy. Other than that simple stuff really.

EDIT: How do you get the entire black background? Just one big button behind it?

Lots of little, black, "Explorer style" buttons. This doesn't make the background black, as such, but allows you to place text or images wherever you basically like. For example, Thorgal's border would (probably) be made of a few buttons, one for each tile-thing (as it repeats).

Lots of black buttons.

Yes, thank you for supporting my statement, Drago. tongue.gif

What can I do to make my pictures not flicker and blink whenever I mouse over them? I don't have any looks checked (inset, explorer style etc.) and this helped a bit, I just hate it. It's mainly the profile that does it, the body scan too though
Unknown2005-02-21 04:02:12
You can't stop them flicking, sorry... Unless you upgrade your computer. tongue.gif
Drago2005-02-21 04:02:51
Bah, I was semi-afk and clicked the link to this when you weren't looking at it, thus thinking I was posting first tongue.gif

I actually have a relatively decent computer (about 5 billion fold better than required for this). Might it be because they're 24bmps and ZMUD wants 16?
Unknown2005-02-21 04:10:33
Upgrade to a supercomputer or something, then.

And no, it's not because of the bitmap types. I used 16 and they still flickered.
Unknown2005-02-21 04:19:41
I see, I see. Thank you so much. To satisfy that I basically made my name do SCORE and my profile do STAT so that whenever it pops out when I hover on it and flickers it has a purpose doh.gif placebos!
Unknown2005-02-21 04:24:57
How would you get those graphical toggle buttons? I can't find a way to make the graphic change when you toggle the button on and off... Like those green circular indicators on Singollo's interface, for Allheale and the balances and stuff.
Unknown2005-02-21 04:27:27
#NOOP %btnimage( button_id, image)

For example:

#NOOP %btnimage( "pk_button", HEART)

or

#NOOP %btnimage( "pk_button", pk.bmp)

Just make that in an #IF statement when you click it, to toggle between images.
Unknown2005-02-21 05:01:40
Another quick question - why is it that when I add a bmp, it puts a whole bunch of white dots into it? The original bmp doesn't have them...
Singollo2005-02-21 05:23:32
That's the transparancy issue I was talking about.
Unknown2005-02-21 05:48:32
Oh, fixed it! Oddly enough, when I had a caption for the button with grey text and a black background, it worked out.
Alger2005-02-21 07:49:18
dude you guys have to look at my interface! looks like telnet!
Unknown2005-02-21 08:43:15
Woah, how'd you make it look like telnet? tongue.gif

To fix the bitmap transparency problem, just make the button colour the same as the bitmap's background.
Alger2005-02-21 08:46:33
with the skillz to pay the billz... oh damn bills.... *groan*
celahir2005-02-21 13:02:40
Thought I might as well post mine, though its not that good im proud of it.

I need help tracking time and seeing those borders like Thorgals wanna do something like that.

Amaru what paint software do you use to manipulate the body pictue like that?
