I am about to pull my hair out. I am at what I am pretty sure is one of the last steps of the gnome quest, but either I am doing something wrong, or it's bugged. If you are willing to answer a yes or no question about this quest, please PM me. Thanks!

A lot of walking is true but the worst thing is having to do the battleground entry mini-quest over and over to get back up to the battleground.

That takes the longest if you are a newbie with no fast moving skills, or at least thats what I found.

I am fairly new, this is my 3rd day or so of playing. I am currently on the top of the mountain, but I don't know what to do to continue the quest.

Any suggestions/hints?

Well... continue it? The quests start at the lowest levels and move up, and it's hard to give any hints beyond that. Well, except for this- the quests to move to the next level are only partially related- there's other stuff to do in each place, including a lot of back-and-forth.

Ok, I've gone everywhere and done almost everything, but I'm completely stuck. Completely. I know what to do with the reeds, skein, black stones, and crystall balls. I have no clue what to do with the book. No clue what so ever. I've tried reading it, giving it to every denizen I could find, everything.

Do you recall seeing another book in your explorations? Search around that area, and remember that things aren't always easily or clearly seen.

There's someone around who's clearly interested in books. Good luck finding 'em.

Arggh this is driving me bonkers too! I am at the point of trying to figure out how to fix Maisey's catapult, and have tried everything - talked to all different NPC's, tried fixing it myself, tried giving Maisey different tools to fix it with. Eerk!

Though this talk of books is interesting. I will have to go back and scour all the areas... again.
