So, Ceres, for you 'active' means playerfighting and killing? Uhm............

If you're never on prime, you can hardly be doing anything doh.gif

I changed to Hartstone, realized there was nearly NO guild infrastructure, no guild ethos, essentially it was a group of people with skills. Tried to make a difference, got stalled out by Nessa's exorbitant time to enact ANYTHING, and the rampant general apathy within the guild. There is a lot to do in Hartstone, but we need more than two secretaries, (only one is active, and they only recently became so again, and the Administrator is terrifyingly slow with the administrating, and Niara, whom I think is a great person, does not a great guildmaster make.)

They need to appoint at least four new Secretaries, pronto, get a new Admin, and things would be good.
Typhus2005-02-17 14:07:40
Heh... And the Geomancers need what... A population?
Niara2005-02-17 17:09:35
Only because some people around when you are not, Akraasiel, doesn't mean that they are never around.
Oh, and Ceres, only since very recently I am about half of my online-time off-plane. So please before you make willd assumptions get your facts straight.

I also think that guild politics don't belong to this board as they are only guild's business.
Akraasiel2005-02-17 22:06:03
Heh, Niara, You can't say that they are around when Im not around because I have a rather unorthodox job that allows me to spend +14 hrs on at a crack. There are about five or six others within the guild who are truly looking out for the guilds wellbeing, and hoping that it will become a bastion of RP, and most of them are part of the Scelaige. I made sure of that. I'll probably be back on Ak soon to see if Nessa has gotten anything through (been waiting more than a year so far for one particular item), and to work on some of the other matters.
Niara2005-02-18 00:49:17
Of course I can say that, Akraasiel because I often see them being around when you are not. I am not from the US and therefore play at different times than most of you.
Unknown2005-02-18 01:36:04
Actually, I find myself as the only Celestine in the realms much of the time, and at worse times I've been the only Celestian at all. Early in my mornings, as a Brit, rare to see more than one or two Celestines about. (Of course there's always exception days.) When the game gets to prime time however, there's tons of us around.

In general though, it is the mages that seem to be low on numbers. It's not often when I have to be worried about a Geomancer demesne, and I don't seem to face them in combat often. Paladins also seem small, but seem to attract large crowds of novices. Hopefully things will change with their new leadership.

Hartstone seem really powerful to me, I think they deserve more attention.

I dont have a set sleep schedual, I flop days and nights often. Trust me, I am online, even when not logged into Ak, I can check QW. Every day, I am logged in for a minimum of 14 hours, at random hours, spread all throughout the day. Oftentimes more. Between all of my Alts, I frequently pass 4 days of online time a week, sometimes more.
Sylphas2005-02-18 03:54:24
You're insane. Most likely in a rather fun and innocent way, but insane nonetheless.
Akraasiel2005-02-18 07:44:10
Why thank you!
Raiha2005-02-18 19:08:17
I agree with everything you said, Akraasiel, including the bit about me being totally inactive tongue.gif. Sorry. I don't have a lot of time to spare, and I'm quickly losing interest.

Anyway, I just tried to spark up a conversation about ending Hartstone's pointless stand-still over GT, and I got shot down. Big time. Apparently everyone's okay with doing absolutely nothing. Guess we've got our work cut out for us.
Ceres2005-02-18 19:41:55
Doing things = work = disliked.
Raiha2005-02-18 19:44:32
Mmhm. I seriously feared for my life for a few minutes, until I assured everyone that nothing would be required. Probably.
Manjanaia2005-02-18 19:45:51
I can't believe there's people who are willing to admit that they spend more than half their life on a game.

It's not just a Hartstone problem, the guilds in Lusternia aren't always large, people shouldn't compare them to achaea's level of population. I would guess that the Hartstone are more common than many other classes.
Ceres2005-02-18 19:56:35
Largest guild in Achaea - Druids.

Hartstone - Druids.

Druids coming from Achaea go Hartstone.

Im usually writing while in realm, keep it on a split screen with Word for easy Alt-Tab switching. Playing Lusternia is a good influence, otherwise I wouldnt have the patience to keep writing.

When I brought it up on Gt I just got shouted at. People expect that out of me. It didnt surprise anyone.

Your facts are mistaken. Largest guilds in Achaea are actually fluctuating between Sentinels, Occultists, and Runewardens, Druids have never been 'largest' guild that I could recall.

I'll bring Guido into Hartstone, and revolutionize your roleplaying overnight, whether they want it or not.

It will cost you 500 credits, 400,000 gold, and an automatic seven guildfavors plus three cityfavors.
