And yeah, Leicestershire people have an accent. Kinda soft, not particularly strong but distinct. And people who leave out of city (Loughborough, Melton Mowbray etc) call people duck all thte time.

Like heck, Bricriu. You wouldn't believe how many Americans say that, when in reality they have the most -ridiculous- accents, they just never know it. I mean, I don't have an accent from my perspective, but as Arilyon and Summer can verify I do in fact have one.
