Final Fantasy VIII was an abomination. Do not defile this place with its name, for to speak of it is to speak of evil itself, and words alone are enough to draw out a hatred as deep that which lies nestled in its gooey core.

Final Fantasy VIII.

I loved it.

I found it rather confusing, myself, and I'm still unclear as to the concept of "Time Compression".

Still, the cutscenes were long and the GF's were shiny, so I was satisfied.

Obviously Time Compression means things happen in less time over a specific period of time... duuuuuhhh!

I hated the first two hours, then grew to love it. The end was a bit confusing, but on the same note, it took me beating FFVII twice to get it fully. Somewhat helps that I found the secret cutscene of Cloud and whatshisface.

My friend keeps telling me I need to play FFVII and finish the game.

I tried playing it on my comp, and I can't sit through the game mechanicss to get trhough the story. Anyone know a good site with Story and plot spoilers but without all the Min/max raise level crap?
