I'm not talking about Bricriu. The fact that she can't grasp that instant transportation from Point A to Point B at the other end of the planet is a form of teleportation is entirely irrelevant.
I'm talking about you, Narsrim, and how you state something, then overlook it when it's inconvenient for you, and then completely try to dodge the issue when it's brought up.

If you're talking about moonbeam, Narsrim did mention that in other threads, and agreed it should be fixed too.

That's exactly -my- point, Elryn.
He beleives it's not working properly, and intentionally uses it in a fashion that's favourable to him, but in contrast to what he beleives is how it's supposed to work.
That is called "bug abuse." Knowingly taking advantage of something that is not working like it's supposed to.

Then Yrael, Bricriu, and many Nihilists/Celestines are guilty of the same with catacombs. They can read too (I hope so) and many have responded in the threads... so if I'm guilty, I'm not alone.
Daganev2005-02-17 11:56:18
Thats because like I mentioned in a nother thread, he is trying to manipulate the "rules" which don't exist. I.e make you follow something that he wouldn't
Niara2005-02-17 12:00:02
Could someone please close this thread as it is ONLY personal fighting and insulting between a few people here?

Again, Narsrim, I won't say they aren't.
But you're simply trying to dodge the issue by again, saying "They can be fucked up, so I can too!"
Since you don't like my comparisons to anything in real life, I'll try a game based one.
Let's assume for a moment, I find a way to summon you into Magnagora, while you're standing in Estelbar. I find some back door that Roark or Estarra didn't think of, when they were dealing with that, and I drag you into 20 guards.
Now, I know for a fact I'm not supposed to do it. But, I did it anyways, because it hadn't been fixed. Am I any less guilty of abusing a bug?
No.
The fact that they haven't gotten around to fixing it yet is what -makes- it a bug. If they'd fixed it, you wouldn't be able to do this, and therefore, it wouldn't be a bug.
You can do it. You know you're not supposed to be able to. That makes it a bug. That means, if you do it intentionally, you're abusing the bug.
And the fact that ten other people do the same thing, doesn't change the fact that -you- are doing it.

Our beloved moderator resorting to personal attacks again... I take offense to being called a manipulative person. Write that down for future reference *wink*
Anyhoo, the two of you can hark about me all you want. Absolutely nothing will come of it. If a policy is being violated, I expect Roark or Estarra will let me know. You can keep up this little game if you wish but don't be disappointed when nothing happens.
Daganev2005-02-17 12:08:04
I appologize I was only using what you said.
Shiri2005-02-17 12:15:30
Niara's got a point. It'd be good if either you let it drop or discuss some more useful than each other's actions.
