Subj: Enemy Territory

As most of you should know, the Avenger will not protect you if you are in enemy territory. This now includes territory controlled by denizens. For example, if you are an enemy of Emperor Ladantine, you will open yourself up to PK without consequence if you travel to the Sea of Despair or Spectre Isle. Likewise, if you are an enemy of the Kelpies, you will open yourself up to PK without consequence in the Inner Sea.

It has always been said that there are consequences to getting yourself enemied to denizen organizations and this is merely an extention of such repercussions. For a full list of territories, see HELP ENEMY TERRITORY.

------

What about if you are in a village under a city/commune control that you are a member of (eg. I a member of Serenwilde who controls Estelbar) but I am also an enemy of Estelbar (killing a furrikin as a novice)...

What takes precedence?

The sphere of influence takes precedence. In other words, in the above example, you would not be considered an enemy (by the Avenger) of Estelbar if it was under the influence of Serenwilde even if you were an enemy of Estelbar itself.

Good, thank you, and yay! This makes sense, and I'm very glad to see this happen. In fact, I'm so happy, I need to change my sig.

Thank you! I love this change. It should handle a lot of the problems with conflicts over non-village areas.

Would it be too much to ask the leader of a territory whether a person is enemied? Example -

QUOTE
You say to Lanikai, "Is Erion an enemy of yours?"
Lanikai screams, "ERION MUST DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

Edit: added.. clarification
