No complaints or all, I'm just wondering. Is there -any- way besides focus mind to get out of a 6-hex combo of:

Impatience
Pacified
Anorexia
Asthma
Paralysis
Stupidity?

No vials for the asthma, no focus body for the paralysis to let you do the healing that you need for the anorexia/asthma combo, no smoking coltsfoot for the anorexia, pacified and stupidity just seemed to make it worse rather than be part of the combo. Apart from focus mind, though, anyone have a quick idea of how to fix that?

EDIT: (And, uh, due to pushes it was all instantaneous so I didn't have a chance to get out of it that way, before anyone says that. *g* Luckily Dumihru & Gregori were there or I'd never have gotten out. :/)

For you, a Moondancer, the healing skillset.

Otherwise, no, there's no other way.
Shiri2005-02-19 13:26:39
Nah, I tried that, can't do it while paralysed. >_< Okay, right, focus mind it is.

Focus mind is the way out. Invoke green might work too. Syphon if you are a Nihilist. Trueheal if you are a Paladin/Celestine, the passive affliction healing of Aquamancers does the trick too.

makes it seem like hexes aren´t so bad huh?
Shiri2005-02-19 20:53:55
They are against anyone who has a clue of how to cure and has the credits for the skills to back it up, which is of course what everyone judges by. (See, if you balance it at the mid level, fighting would be totally unbalanced at the top, whereas if you balance it at the top, fighting becomes a very top-heavy system so the tides of battle can get swung fairly easily based on presence rather than skills.)

If you have focus mind, hexes won't touch you. If you don't, you're censor.gif .

There's also hunger in athletics and perhaps some other skills.

Makes for a good buisness scheme, no? That and it is a hell of a lot more fun to have the higher skills.
Shiri2005-02-20 12:23:13
I wasn't complaining. Just stating. wink.gif
Alger2005-02-21 07:38:08
para stops hunger last time i checked. I need focus mind too shiri you're not alone.
Drago2005-02-21 08:24:56
Gedulah and Hod might work as well? I'll test.. once Munsia dies.
Drago2005-02-21 08:44:36
Hod and Gedulah are both stopped by paralysis, so green is probably stopped by it as well. A bit sucky for that.
Shiri2005-02-21 18:13:04
And so's Full Moon, which I also tried.
