Narsrim was from Aetolia, and we did whine a lot.

Thanks for sharing because I'm sure you know far better than me if I wanted to release that. As if hi-jacking wasn't bad enough, disclosing personal information is.

I don't mean to be crude, or harsh in any way, but personally, methinks that the Geomancer Demesne is pretty lame, and that the Aqua Demesne and Serenwilde Demesne are pretty overpowered. How about we equal them out some, hmm?

Have you seen the changes to the Geomancer demesne? Or, have you been reading the thread?

My bad. I figured everyone knew already.

I don't understand it either. I can cruise through a Hartstone and Aquamancer demesne fully aware that if I screw up for a couple seconds in healing, I can always stop, fix the problem, and continue fighting with a slim chance of dying. In a Geomancer demesne, however, that was never the case and even more so now. Truthfully, I think it boils down to this: There isn't a very good Geomancer combatant. There are several people who are decent but there is no "Tuek/Daevos/Amaru" for the Geomancers and until their is, Geomancers are going to feel second rate.

Actually, I do not consider anyone (myself included) such a great figher in Lusternia. Not a one, not all, not any. I think everyone still has a good bit to learn, and a good bit of flaws to deal with.

My point being that "of the current best-of-the-best" there is no Geomancer who stands out in the crowd.

Faereturn being forceable means very little, since you could either wait for your demon to get control of them, then wait for when they have balance, then force them to return it... or, you could just hit it twice normally and kill it. Big deal.

Well, you cannot force a Nihilist/Celestine to desummon the demon/angel so... we should change it to where you can because that would be a really cool tactic for m to use.
Unknown2005-02-21 07:58:49
I agree, forcing faereturn is a bit harsh. I mean, we can't even force someone to 'dive' with our pooka (I think) yet it would be ok to force us to unsommon the backbone of our class?
Roark2005-02-21 13:03:05
It isn't forceable. I have no idea what you are talking about...
Kaervas2005-02-21 13:17:56
No idea if the stun time for Geos has been changed since we tested but when me and Silvanus tested it out when it first appeared the stun time was hardly even a second.

Shiri2005-02-21 17:10:56
Roark, it WAS forceable, 'cause I made Slyp do it. Said so on GT that it could be messy, and about 15 minutes later Lisaera came on and said it wasn't anymore.
Also, editting Silvanus' remarks 'cause personal information shouldn't -really- be given out here, especially if it isn't wanted.

That was the point, Shiri. It was a stealth fix, and he wanted you to have the impression that it was never that way to begin with.
Shiri2005-02-21 18:25:44
Oh, uh...yeah, that would make sense. *cough*

I was under the impression that it was fixed within minutes after its release and assumed no one would had a chance to use it. So whomever had this happen must have been extroidinarily unlucky to get hit within that time window.
Shamarah2005-02-21 18:59:56
I think they were just testing it.
Shiri2005-02-21 19:14:51
We were indeed just testing it. I saw the ability and went, okay, why would anyone need tha-OH CRUD NO *tests* Argghh.
Shiri2005-02-26 18:30:47
What about the new Discernment changes? I don't have it so I can't say how good they are. What d'you guys think? (Do they take eq, mainly?)
Also, Supranatural things upgraded. Hm.

I'm at Fabled discernment, the only new change I see is that thirdeye was moved down quite a bit, and powersense tok thirdeye's place.
