Yeah, you haven't got the trans one then, that's what I'm interested in mainly. I need to get contemplate so I can stop GUESSING with stupid toadcurse, hm.

I like the upgrades. Gives me powersense, which I've been wanting for quite a bit now. Also, Aethersight seems like a really useful skill.
Thanks! smile.gif

Me, Valek, and Aajen, once went up against Raziela without resistance, and we whaled on her for over 10 minutes without bringing her down below light wounds. Why, because her regen was insane, and thats why I dont think your strategy would have been successful if Gorgulu wasnt weaker than he should have been.

An idea for clanslots....

An artifact that hides all the clans you belong to. Should cost more than 400 credits. But does not hide you from the clanhelp scroll if you hold a position. Only hides the information in your "Honours"

If you're going to pay so much for it, should hide the list of clans from any guild abilities too. Can't remember the syntax exactly, and I don't know if they copied the abilities over from Achaea / other IRE games, but those above a certain guild rank / position can view your SCORE as though you're the one doing it (including the clans).

Did you do the quest to weaken her?

You'd pay 400cr for an artifact that hides your affiliations? If it's that secret, the clans should be secret. Anyhow, that's alot of credits just to have that as an option.

Yeah, I agree that's a lot, but there's always the rich kids who'll think it's worth it. happy.gif

They'd have to weaken her in order to perform an aggressive action, Soll.

Of course, this happened after the upgrade, right? They upgraded because we were killing Gorgulu. Am I the only one who sees the cause and effect chronology here? Yeah, our previous tactics might not work on Gorgulu now. Go figure. They just upgraded him, along with the other Demon Lords, Supernals, Moon avatars.

Third eye is a low skill ability! This makes Yesod much less effective. Camo/Night had flaws to begin with.

IE, I rather liked that few could easily see through shroud.

I don't suppose we could base this on relative skill, could we? Someone with greater Nature/Wicca/Druidry being able to remain camo'd to people with lower Discernment. Highmagic vs Discernment, for Yesod. Illusions... er... I don't know about Invisibility so much. Would make sense there, too, if there isn't already a similar mechanism.

Narsrim is the one who said, "Did we do the quest to weaken her"
Daevos2005-02-27 20:43:00
Our attempt happened after the first upgrade to the Supernals/Demon Lords, and we did "weaken" her. That doesnt change the fact that she was basically unkillable by us because our damage output was too low, and Gorgulu should have been the same. No two people could have been able to kill him normally. That suspicion was confirmed by Fain, when he told me that Gorgulu wasnt returned to his original strength after that event.

On the subject of new announces and stuff contained within - is the thing where if you have two sprites in a room, one faecloaked, one not, and they both show up on QL as (two sprites here), is that a bug, or is it meant to be like that? I'm not sure how that stuff was handled in other games. (I.e masked Occie ents.)
Buho2005-02-28 00:20:16
Hmm, I would say that was an oversight. Why not just recloak so they all go away?
Shiri2005-02-28 00:36:47
They don't uncloak, technically, they're just visible if one of the Moondancers that DOESN'T have the cloak ability hasn't done it. It's not exactly a problem of any description, it's just an oddity, and I was curious about it.
