Alrighty. So I decide that having lots of enemies is not what I wan't at the moment, considering my plans for the future, so I set off on getting myself unenemied from my 7 odd different orgs. All goes fine, and I'm finnally unenemied from Serenwilde, I get word of who to talk to from Mag (just haven't seen them yet). Then I realize my problem - I'm enemied to three different Denizen Organizations (no more than 1 kill each, maybe 2x in Ankrag). I asked on ct, and the sum comes up to about 150k per org.
Considering I was unenemied from Serenwilde (for being a crow at one point) for 10k, isn't this price a bit... steep? At the moment, I have no way I'm gunna make 450k within a rl year... Is there any other solution? And no, I don't have the money to buy credits either.

Syntax: INFLUENCE WITH AMNESTY
Ego Battle: Special
Want to travel with impunity in the enemy's territory without having to parley
with gold? Seek out the leader and convince him or her to grant you amnesty.

Awsome. Thats not permenant, is it? Cuase if so, that would be _so_ great.

But that only grants the person amnesty for a few ig months, it's no final solution.
Silvanus2005-02-20 21:28:06
No, not quite. Kaervas has gotten unenemied from Angkrag for amnesty before.

Ok, how far is it into influence? I have no lessons in influence at all, at the moment...
Richter2005-02-21 00:06:21
Doesn't that cost gold though? Like... massive amounts?
Unknown2005-02-21 00:07:56
I got a way to make monies. Yes, but it costs less to do amnesty than to pay for 3 orgs.

Amnesty has a really small chance to unenemy you. Usually it just gives you a few months reprieve.
You are an enemy of: Acknor, Glomdoring, Southgard, Angkrag, Dairuchi, Celestia, Nil, Magnagora, Geomancers, Nihilists, Raezon, Mesa, Nomads.
Weee... I had New Celest and Aquamancers on there recently, those are gone though.

it would be nice if after say 20 years of no violent action to a denizen area, you automatically get unenemied.
Unknown2005-02-21 01:07:27
Oi. Specially if you've only ever killed one mob.
Sylphas2005-02-21 01:55:29
That would be great. I've been an enemy of the kelpies for one kill when I was newbie, and have never even gotten close to having enough gold to even think about trying to get unenemied.

Buck up. My fines in Mag were 5 mil, while Chade was emperor.

You guys are way off in the amount it costs to get unenemied from certain denizen organizations. It depends upon the leader and, believe me, Elohora will cost a lot more than Lanikai.
We aren't inclined to allow enemy status to be forgiven with time. That's the repercussion for getting enemied (which is stated several times in the help files)--you either pay the piper or you don't.
The cost of a successful parley goes down with your skill level in influence. Also, Sacraments has a skill that lowers the cost even further. So you can definitely get a noticeable discount if a Celestine or Paladin with diplomacy parleys on your behalf (might be a profitable side venture for Celestians?).
