I see what your saying Richter. I don't frequent NoT, I just go there for a duel or two. Can you explain the Institue anyone? I don't know quite what your saying....
And I think that, yes the players have to choose a spot, but the meeting places are more the Nexuses at each city, and no one really branches out. We need players that want to get together with others to just talk. Maybe just a tavern or something. I understand that people ARE making public places, but no one is coming there frequently. Every time I visit Deepnight, I'm the only one there, or there are two other people. That's about it.
We need to socialize, and RP more, otherwise the game will lose its fun.
Kudos to Richter for his RP with his Mace creation.

I like the way the lack of one general meeting place prevents people from hanging around chatting cordially with the people who were trying to kill them 20 minutes ago. If you want to do that, talk to them out of character somehow.
And as for places to arrange duels, arrange them through tells then work out somewhere neutral to have them. It's not -that- big a deal.

I suppose not, but it would still be cool to have a place that all of the basin can come, and forget about hositilies... like a tavern that is violence free by order of the Divine. I understand what you're saying though Laysus.

I was wondering why the admins destroyed it. Not why some Charachters in the story line destoryed it.
Was NoT becomming too much of an issue?

NoT is not destroyed. It is now just called North of the Ruins of Thera.

Indeed. NoRoT. People have already started calling it that. I'm sure if the divine wanted to dispel of it, they would have done something similar to Aetolia... put aggresive creatures there, as well as a road from Hashan over to the Rock, Mhaldor, The Desert and Cyrene... That way its not reall a socializing place.

About the mace...
That was really really really really random.
But thanks.
And I like how there isn't a NoT in the game, as it mixed people TOO much. We have cultural and racial differences that keeps us from mixing, much like oil and water. We don't want to be -completely- seperate, but we don't want, for example, Luminaries and Vampires hugging each other at NoT, proposing with thier pants, and afflicting each other randomly.
Strangely enough, I'm trying to build a common meeting place. Go figure.

Forget forks, Thera and socializing places, what Lusternia could use is a Bopolopia. Chaos' Playground as some of my Achaean elders used to call it. That place was bizarre.

I guess we won't be seeing much of you around, anymore...

Silvanus: Ah I see.
Desdemona: I will have to say the same thing as Amaru.
Amaru: I'm with you on this one.

I should get back into Aetolia someday. I think I played for two hours, then got frustrated because I couldn't find my way around, cause I thought it would be the exact same layout as Achaea. Plus, with the lack of automatic rift thing...it just wasn't working out. Now that I've managed to figure out exactly how to navigate successfully though, I may try to go back.
In any case, the Vertani sent a meteor to destroy Thera, killing everyone there and pissing many people off in the process. They say they're going to build a new and better city, but who knows with them?
Oh, and if I just repeated what someone said, then ignore me. I didn't bother to read everything here. I'm too lazy

Ahh, that was great. I remember that, and died plenty of times. Funny stuff.
