I see no "weevil" to take.
You cannot pick up a lumbering red weevil. If anything, this should be considered the bug. Weevils should still be able to appear on the canopies, but maybe you shouldn't be able to see them... even though if you stand under a tree and stare to a branch, you can often see whatever is crawling in there... maybe that is why we perceive them.
Maybe weevil require of you to be on the floor for them to have the courage of coming out on the canopies.

It would also be interesting if there were actually multiple (five) different animals, rather than variations of the same one.. Though, that might screw with the targetting system, unless they all went with the 'rodent' target.
So, could have pigeons, giant dragonflies, huge moths that try to eat newbies, fireflies that keep people awake at night.. and something else, for the air city.
