Let's clarify.
2000 Credits
Price: $579.99
(29 cents/credit)
Someone paid nearly six-hundred dollars for that single item.
They can go wherever the hell they please.

The cubix costs 2000 credits. No reason to change it, not that many people will ever have it.
Edit: Guido beat me.

And how many do you think will sell if it's not a raiding tool? No one drops that many credits to save a bit of walking.
Yrael2005-03-02 07:53:35
like they said, nearly 600 bucks. More if you live in a country (Like me) that ISNT the US. Or Britain. Here, it'd be nearly a thousand bucks for that single item. So, you're arguing, that because it makes it easy for them to raid, they should have 1000 dollars - or 600 - wasted? Screw that. Just reduce the 'reset to person who owns' time by a bit, or just make it usable only by that person and those following them. Seriously. Or just leave as is.

British money's worth more than American, for clarification.
I think it was 1 dollar = 75p, but I believe American money has increased a mite in value.

Geb tried to romp around on Nil again, but he died three times. What a shame.

I also killed a person under your care Ixion. The person was right by you, and you could do nothing to save him. That is a true shame. Also, I died 3 times to a group of 5 of you. How many times have you killed me all by your lonesome Ixion? *All that is heard is birds chirping*
Perhaps the people complaining about my raiding should purchase their own Cubix for 2000 credits. Then they could follow me right back to where the Cubix leads and attack me there. Better yet, they could have some people in the spot where I enter Nil, while another set is sitting on limbo for my eventual return. Not that hard to set up, all you have to do is open your wallet to purchase a Cubix for yourself. If I am willing to pay near 600 USD for that advantage, you should be willing to pay near 600 USD to nullify it.

Poor Geb, get over yourself. You cubixed in, slinged a rune, then cubixed out-repeat; a superb showing of courage... Uziah died because he couldn't heal right and had no pipes. He came willingly and knew the dangers. He later told me that he recognized it was his own fault for dieing, and could accept that. I seem like I am repeating myself- that's because I am. I told you this IC Geb. I ask you to accept the fact that I don't always have the time or luxury from my duties in the city and guild to accept on every duel/threat/instigation that comes my way.
BTW: thanks for all those hilarious threats, instigations, and condescending remarks. Kaervas and I got some good laughs from them.

It was my pleasure. May we meet on the Astral sometime when you and Kaervas are not huddling together for safety.

Awww, that sounds so um..wrong?
Sylphas2005-03-03 04:34:42
Sounds like cubix just needs to require equilibrium to use, or at least have a second or few equilibrium recovery on use. Raiding is one thing, jumping in and out repeatedly is just about as cheap as jumping in and out of the edge of a city killing guards.
Daganev2005-03-03 04:54:17
I don't know... it is 2000 credits. Thats.... 5 artisnal contests winning first place.
Perhaps give the cubix its own timer.

You have GOT to be kidding me. I looked it up on the internet when I bought credits and it was more like 55p. I'm so dead when the VISA bill comes, if you're right. *faint*
