Because, Rhysus, as I say, I haven't been following IRE standards for 6 years, so I didn't know that they were any different.

As with any statistics, it's more the overall trends than the individual numbers that mean anything. You know, like, having 75% of the vote against a person is a good indicator that there is something of note.

Fair enough. And I think, that to avoid the utterly puerile immaturity of this whole business, I will refrain from censoring that one swear word until I receive confirmation either way from the administration (no, I will not be uncensoring previously edited posts) as to whether it does or does not count. I think all the mods are doing great jobs around the forum, especially Shiri. She reads almost every post, and checks it. Maintains good enough environment for all to be able to read it. So what if she censors a few things? People know what you mean, you know what you mean. Complaining about it is just pathetic.

Spamming isn't illegal, nor are off-topic posts, completely useless posts, or random posts. Only personal attacks and bad language, the former of which Silvanus is (currently) not directly engaging in, and the latter of which is currently on hold while we wait for an official response dictating what exactly falls within bounds of "acceptable language."
