I remember that. Hmm, that would make more sense then attacking Magnagorans just because they're on Astral plane (which is more or less neutral ground).
However, Munsia's behaviour still annoys me much. Random PKings, or PKings simply because someone is a member of opposing organisation, are a very bad thing, and (frankly speaking) a pain in the for other players. Even if it's RPed, there are situations where RP should take a step back, because having fun while playing a game is more important - not only for you, but for other players as well.

Just goes to show you getting old is not kind to the mind hehe. The incident I mentioned did happen on Celestia. Anyways ancient history, and even if Lisaera does not remember Kree does and follows the word of his Lady.
Unknown2005-03-01 17:42:32
I remember that incedent very well. It was the foundation for Cronnacht's dislike of Nikua and support for Merloch. Kree and Cronnacht caught alot of hell for refusing to turn on Merloch in the meeting and Cronnacht was nearly cast out of the Commune. The whole episode was very confusing because at first many of us thought Lisaera was endorsing aiding Celest. In fact she was just stating that Celest was likely to be unable to repel the attack without assistance. The event also seemed to be the catalyst for Nikua aligning Serenwilde with Magnagora. Which was a good political tactic by Nikua.

Couple points i would like to make.
First, most of you who are commune enemies, do not see any roleplay from Munsia because of one of two things. Either your killing her, or your running from her.
Munsia does roleplay, its just that none of you are around her when she does do it. Why, probably because you wouldn't believe it if you seen it. Then again it could also be, your not important enough rp-wise, to even bother with.
The Divine made the game, and we play it by their rules. If a novice gets out of line, they got their Innocence to level 20, to protect them. If their above that level, the rules of the game make it so they are killable. In most cases, players who take a great deal of time reaching that level have already passed out of novicehood, surpassing their 24 hours played, already. In some cases where the people who have more time upon their hands, progress above that level before they surpass novicehood. In any event, Once they reach level 20 they should be well aware that they can be killed, because their grace is gone. Your guilds, should be telling those novices to not instigate, start, or provoke anyone into a fight as a novice, nor should they be placing themselves into any position where such can come to be.
If they have been warned, they cannot claim any ignorance upon their part, muddled minds or not from stepping out of the portal of fate.
The last time munsia killed a novice, nyla was it, a commune member and her rp-brother. He was told by her a few times over to stop attacking her with the vines or he would be struck. He failed to listen, his choice there. He got struck, and even though he did die, he was warned prior about it. His choice there. So you all can sit back and think, what that person did, to assault munsia prior her attacking.
Hitting players with afflictions is *Considered* a aggressive action, and can and has started pk. Every guild has the ability to speak to their new novices and warn them not to start any pk fights by any means. Perhaps to best avoid this, for the better of all, because munsia is not the only Novice killer out there. You should all tell your own novices to be polite and respectful, lose that air of immaturity, and we can all get along. Until that is, they feel ready to pk and be pk'd.
Common sense people, use it, or lose it, choice is yours.

I am far from a novice and Munsia has never killed me. That was Pent

No matter who the person is, Roleplay does not get put on hold just because you are fighting, killing, or running away from said people.
Gwylifar2005-03-07 02:22:45
Not all the people who object to her "roleplay" are enemies of her or the commune.

Once upon a time, there was a Magnagoran unenemied to Serenwilde, who decided to do some shopping in Stewartsville, which was under the commune. Unknown to her, the area had been demesned by a certain thing called Munsia.
As our unwary Magnagoran stood in the Stewartsville General Store, lo and behold, flowed to her, the Great Munsia, who proceeded to threaten her because "I don't like Mags". The Magnagoran proceeded to ignore her, upon which she began making the squirrels chatter and the vines shake around her.
After a brief, unsatisfactory conversation with the Great Munsia, the Magnagoran decided to have some tea in the General Store, and study the shopkeeper for future Artisanal work. This annoyed the Great Munsia, who kept coming back and demanding to know why the Magnagoran was sitting there.
At the time, there were several shouts throughout the Basin, and Kaileigh was heard making a derogatory comment about being nice to the less intelligent people, in reference to Magnagorans. Indignant at this insult to her citymates, the Magnagoran proceeded to shout, "Yes, stop teasing the forestals."
The Great Munsia, incensed at this, flowed in to slap the Magnagoran, who, after a moment, bitchslapped her in return, and warned her not to repeat that. The angry forestal then razed the Magnagoran's shield, and flung her into the trees. Climbing down, the Magnagoran repeated her warning, and returned to her spot and her tea.
The Great Munsia ran off to call Citera to her aid, claiming that the Magnagoran had sat there for 3 days. After a brief explanation to Citera, the Magnagoran asked if Munsia was covered by the commune. Citera replied that she wasn't, but he would probably kill her if she touched Munsia.
At that the Magnagoran asked, "Even if she attacked me?" to which Citera replied that no, Munsia was wrong if she had indeed attacked her. Upon hearing this, Munsia exclaimed, "I didn't attack her! I only flung her into the trees!"
After a long, pregnant pause, Citera turned to Munsia and told her to "Be nice" before leaving. Munsia proceeded to sulk, then vanished in a scatter of leaves.
The Magnagoran then proceeded to finish her shopping, and went home with a bagful of meat and fish, satisfied with the day's proceedings.

Okie, that's longer than I expected it to be
But yesh, that was my first direct contact with Munsia, which didn't leave me with a very lovely impression of her. I was also already bigger than her at the time, which is probably why she didn't go all out and attack me. I have no doubt she'dve done that if I was smaller, I've seen her do it millions of times to smaller ones, especially that time when her demesne covered the Ackleberry Highway. She didn't attack me then, but what she DID do, was band up with Narsrim to jump people, me included (eg: The Great Peak Demesne War).
I don't think she does things that are ooc, it's just that her RP is flimsy to the point of making no ic sense. "I don't like Mags." "Why?" "Because they're Mags."
On a side note, I didn't sit there 3 hours, maybe just one, but she told Citera 3. Meh, I've got better things to do than sit there for 3 hours in her demesne staring at whatzisname, the Stewartsville General Storekeeper.

So..
You're saying our novices and near novices should suck up to random people until they want to die.

The advantage of making an alt for a break every so often is you get to see things you wouldn't normally.Munsia's roleplay consists of her standing around bragging that she made x magnagoran run because she was in her demesne and, as everyone knows, hartstone demesnes are basically combat-skill made into a guild skill. (I wanted to call it liquid skill but.. it doesn't quite fit).
Other then that, she seems to like cows a lot. The attempts at roleplay I've seen from Magnagora's side with Munsia usually end with a "moo" on her part.
Until that changes, and she learns that "killing people" doesn't make her wonderful, she'll get no respect from many people at all.
Unknown2005-03-15 23:20:09
Munsia herself isn't too horrible a problem. The fact that she has led countless new Serenwilders to behave like her is. Something should be done about it, she refuses to listen to others.
Daganev2005-03-16 01:51:14
People taking her under thier wing and encouraging her to do it more doesn't help.
Ialie2005-03-16 06:22:25
No matter what someone does you will always be able to find some bleeding heart who will cry out that we should look the other way, or turn the other cheek. Or they will try and tell us "Oh you just don't understand her, try and see it from her point of view!"
Daganev2005-03-16 06:26:42
I love it when people blame thier own lack of backbone on someone else complaining.

Daganev2005-03-16 06:45:20
Oh your fine because you are not important enough to have enough power to do anything about it....
reward with the right, slap with the left! booyah!
