Do Munsia's consistant actions warrant shrubbing?

Munsia's roleplay consists of her standing around bragging that she made x magnagoran run because she was in her demesne and, as everyone knows, hartstone demesnes are basically combat-skill made into a guild skill. (I wanted to call it liquid skill but.. it doesn't quite fit).

Other then that, she seems to like cows a lot. The attempts at roleplay I've seen from Magnagora's side with Munsia usually end with a "moo" on her part.

The cow part she's dropped. That's the good part.

The bad part is, all that's left is that other stuff you said. I actually think the cow thing was better.

Munsia does roleplay, its just that none of you are around her when she does do it. Why, probably because you wouldn't believe it if you seen it. Then again it could also be, your not important enough rp-wise, to even bother with.

You're joking, right?

I think some of what he's referring to is the S&M stuff she does.

Incidentally, be very careful about advertising in your local newspaper to find people to join your roleplaying group. Or at least be very clear which sense of the word "roleplaying" you have in mind.

The frightening thing is, I don't think the S&M business is roleplay.
Gwylifar2005-03-16 19:24:30
Right, precisely.

Well, I have trained myself not to see or hear Munsia anymore, but in spite of that, I know way more than anyone should have to about her complex S&M relationship tree. It is discussed rather publicly, although thankfully rarely.

Or if you meant the second half... I once posted an ad in a local alternative newspaper's personals section (the only section they'd use) looking for more members for my pencil-and-paper roleplaying game group, but in spite of some precautions, I had the darnedest time explaining to this one person that what we were looking for was not the kind of thing you might meet for in a darkened parking lot, where his wife wouldn't hear about it.

We RPG grognards tend to grump about S&M folks, and computer adventure/FPS gamers, stealing the word "roleplaying" from us, but the psychologists I'm sure grump at us for stealing it from them, so all's fair. biggrin.gif
