A mage/druid discretionary power that forces a village/relevant plane to be completely forested/flooded/tainted.

Melding would have to remain a separate matter, but it would be a timesaver.

Have it 'undo' existing demesnes, so that an absent guildmate's demesne isn't such a hindrance.

That would only help Druid guilds.

No, it would help us MORE. But it'd help because of Viscanti + Merian regeneration too. (But really, what's the point? It should ALREADY be all tainted/whatever'd. 'cept Celestia, the unfortunate exception.)

What should really happen is that a mage should be able to meld the whole place in one snap.

A planeslock discretionary power.

NEXUS PLANELOCK

For a cost of 600 power one may completely lock a plane for a certain duration. None may enter nor leave. This would apply to tesseracts, cubixes, planar gates, and nexus travel. It will prevent anyone regardless of whether they are friend, foe, or even another city/commune member from entering the plane.

For 200 power, you may end a planelock prematurely with NEXUS PLANERELEASE

NEXUS TRAVEL

Instantly travel, taking any who may be following you along, to any city enemy within the territory. Can be done from the nexus within the city or from the obelisk within a village. Costs a slight bit of equlibrium, but very minimal. Costs 50 power. (maybe less? not sure)

That'd be an extremely powerful ability, would have to cost more.
Shiri2005-03-04 00:26:03
It's just like flow, hm. 50 power flow? tongue.gif

Anyway, I like Akraasiel's one, only it would have to allow Nexus transport. No cubixes, tessies, or all that, but the Nexi should still be routes out. You have guards to contend with anyway, so whatev.

Its a bad idea because Tuek loves his cubix. It lets him jump into Nil, raid and jump out whenever he wants, with ease. The three points of combat are, getting your opponent so they cannot flee, staying alive, and killing them. This defense would make it so that raiders would have to kill everyone on plane to escape. It is feasible, just quite difficult. (or they could hide and run until the lock wore off)
Shiri2005-03-04 00:32:37
His cubix did cost him like £295, to be fair. dry.gif

Tuek doesn't have a cubix.

Envision this: Tuek and Narsrim raid Nil (just using you guys as an example, not to pick on you or anything) 4 Magnagorans show up and do this lock thing. Tuek and Narsrim end up killing them all. Now no new defenders can get to the plane. Anyone random who gets caught on the plane at the wrong time is also screwed.

I'm starting to like this idea... and plus, if you could lock down Celestia/Nil... you could essentially lock Serenwilde out of Astral.
Akraasiel2005-03-04 00:52:25
The PlaneLock would last 15 minutes, and be unlockable as well, at a cost of 200 more power.

If all the defenders on Nil get killed, then someone can just unlock from the megalith below, and transverse up.
