Should I try to make a custom WhatPulse signature images site? The only problem is that I'd have to learn a bit of the GD library in PHP.

I doubt that it is WhatPulse which is causing your problems. Why exactly do you think it is the WhatPulse program which is causing them?

You should scan your PC for viruses/random junk with Ad-aware and McAfee.

Also, if your PC in general is fussing up then you should get some more RAM or think about buying a new motherboard in general, if necessary. Usually it's something eating memory though (Like a program running that you're not aware of).

Since I have gotten rid of Whatpulse my computer is working faster.

Actually it wasn't my computer, its just my internet access.

My theory is that whatpulse was contantly checking to see if it should send the keys and clicks and thus sucking up resources since I shut down my computer about once ever 3 weeks. The fact that I could not delete the program without deleting everything in the registry just makes me suspciious, but its also possible I unstinalled it improperly. I.e. the program was still open when I uninstalled it, even though the uninstall shield closed it midway through the uninstall.

Also, my roomate worked for D-link and made a super secure router thingy so it might have been sending info to my computer slowing me down also.

The reason why I even suspected whatpulse was because my computer found no viruses, adawares, or suspicious programs. And its the only thing I've downloaded in the past few months.

As you can see in my signature, I am on my way to creating our team's own signature images service.
