Ruling systems designed by philosophers never work as they should. Check communism as an example.
And no, I'm not from Canada. My country's flag is in my signature (the WhatPulse one).
Also, about the systems in Lusternia - although they are democratical, and propably won't be changed, they can still be RPed as dictatorships of any kind. If it is done in a good way, people won't try to held elections, even when there is such a possibility (how many elections did we have in Magnagora, ignoring the ones when the person in charge allowed to be contested or disappeared and had to be replaced very quickly?).

Communism failed. It doesn't make every system of government created by a philosopher necessarily useless.

Nor does it entirely nullify Marx's and Lenin's theories.

My family, when it gets a bit bigger, is probably going to start taking some serious power. I really like the idea of having political parties, or at least political alliances and deals, instead of all this voting stuff.... it makes it really hard for people to abuse the system, just like when they made it virtually impossible for city leaders to embezzle citycredits. I think this should be available. Corruption is fun to RP!
