I love dogs, I have a German Shepard and a Rotwieler infact..there hasnt been a year where I havnt had a dog in my life :S. But then again I am a animal fanatic

I like cats most, they are independent, intelligent and vicious fighters. Also cats can be very good guards, they defend their territory quite well.
On an interresting side note, accourding to (disputed) medical research cat owners have much more chance on beeing shizophrenic then other people.

Every argument I've heard boils down to a dog respecting you and a cat taking you for granted. I'll take the former over the latter any day of the week. The way I see it, you'd probably tell a cat "f**k you" if it were a human while you'd go out for a beer with the dog.
