Hold on - why are we comparing Will-o-wisp to demesne summon? Wiccans are the equivilant of cosmic guardians. Just be happy you have an *instant* summon.

I want my demon to be able to instantly summon anyone on tainted ground. S'fair. I'll trade beckon for it.

Druids can't instant summon on Forested ground, whereas Geomancers and Aquamancers can, so nothing wrong with Moondancers having instant summon when Celestines and Nihilists have beckon.

I'm well aware. My point was, don't compare cross-classes. Druids ANd moondancers have flow, but *I* can't flow from ANY tainted ground to anyone on tainted ground. Hell, for that matter, neither can a geomancer, while BOTH of your classes can. And this goes THROUGH monos.

Ok lets get this flat out. Druids are more powerful then any other magi, if you do not beleive me its because there are no good current druid fighters. They do not need to be able to summon you to whereever, infact they can just flow to you. Then sap, with the effects of thier Demesne they can kill damn near anyone. Lets have a little game of theory fighting tongue.gif. Time you demesne to all hit at once, program a small timer to give you roughly how long it takes inbetween hits, 2 ish seconds before it hits. Sap the oppenent, demesne hits, sling impaitience anorexia, fill thier arse with slinters and you have won. It is that simple, flat out.

...wait, there's an anorexia rune now? :/ No one tells me these things! (And sap is cleaned with one cleanse. Still nasty, but...8 power...)

Riiiiiight. "Lookie, I'm pentagrammed. This takes all of 3 seconds eq to remove, while I teleport nexus, which takes a good, what, 15 seconds?" Or they could raze your shield and keep attacking in the same round of attacks, if they're a knight. and you could just invoke circle and teleport. So, Nyla, for the next couple days, how 'bout I jump you randomly, and you invoke circle and teleport nexus, instead of flowing. And tell me how equal THAT is to flow.

And this isn't a "omg flow's overpowered". It IS forest only, and I'm of the opinion tainted forests shouldn't count. But that's just me. Still, it has it's ups. But we have our own, I'm sure. somewhere. Between serpent/flow, force-foresting so you can flow from anywhere, and spores, I'm sure you've got no problems there, eh? ^^

Who said it's bugged? You can moonbeam and flow through monoliths, why the hell can't I fling a tarot card, wait about 2-3 seconds, and touch it? When your flow is instantaneous, and I doubt a Hartstone'll be fighitng outside a forest, and a moondancer OR a hartstone can just snort spores, or run off a mono and snort.

We can't run past eye sigils while ghosted, I'm told. Same with dead-lich. Don't see why flow should be any different. Stopped by eye-sigils, but not monoliths.

The only thing I don't like about Flow is that it doesn't cost power. Now I'm saying it should cost power, I'm just saying that the Demesne Travel that Geos and Aquas cost three power. Yes, I know not all of the abilities are the same, but it doesn't make any sense when a NOVICE level skill can be done from any forest, costs no power, and can be done through web or whatever. Granted, I have NO problem with that. However, Demesne Travel which functions the same has a lot more drawbacks. Only in the Mage's demesne, costs three power, and is in a specialization, a few skills up as well. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I don't want Flow nerfed it's fine the way it is, but why the hell does a totally crappier version of it cost THREE power... and that's my rant for today!

Okay, flow can get nerfed the second Moondancers get a decent offence. tongue.gif Okay, so that's besides the point, though.

Yeah, flow is good. (Or I wouldn't want it being changed at all.) Right now our escape is overcompensating for our lack of decent attacks, I think.

Flow is a teleport skill, not summon. In battle, summon means bringing your enemy into your prepared defenses. Teleport means entering his.

And I mean if you can't take on spirit form for flow on an eye-sigil, then apply the reasoning equally to becoming a ghost, or becoming a lich. And I'm pretty sure eye sigils don't stop ghosts from moving around. Unless it has been changed recently.

Edit: Anyway, the point is tarot users (and Wiccans) have a bugged ability that hasn't been fixed yet. So enjoy it while you can rather than complaining about everyone else.

With an eye-sigil on the ground, it stops a ghost from entering the room. The alternative is putting eye-sigils at various entrances to the serenwilde, so when you try to flow, you get thrown back, and end up on the highway. ^^
