Already did a summary, Amaru, but one key flaw You thought Revan was a woman? CHECK THESE THINGS!

At least he didn't make Shamarah a woman.

Bringing up two other queens doesn't quite count as a rebuttle The only kings and queens you study are important ones, war is important. Yay public schooling. Generally we skip over leaders who didn't have some massive impact in some way. ANd Joan did have a rank awared to her I believe. Regardless, she lead France's army and died in an unecessary war that God had told her not to march to, go conquest
This can be tied to a current issue in the DNC. Should we pick Mrs. Clinton to be our next running mate? Well sure! She's a great woman with a good head on her shoulders, will she win? Most likely not, most men aren't ready for a female leader. I however, do not think this really applies to Lusternia. I think we just need to wait for this to settle out before we take a poll.
About the 14/30, that's a bit void as it isn't total leadership it's city leadership, so guildmistresses don't have much say. Not to say that this scenario doesn't tip the scale, but that's what the topic is. YET (eegads) even in Achaea (the oldest of the 4) most leaders are male. Especially Mhaldor, I think in general boys with guns want more power. And I'm willing to bet more men play IRE than women. Just a guess, hrm de drm

You'd be surprised how many women play IRE compared to men. It isn't nearly as imbalanced as some things, like other online games (shooters especially).
Shiri2005-03-06 18:04:57
Guildmistresses don't have much say? In city leadership? Where'd you get that impression? They sure do in Serenwilde. Look at Merloch. (Okay, he's not a woman, but he holds the same position.)
Silvanus2005-03-06 18:22:18
A woman has never ran for Warlord in Magnagora.
Has a woman ran for Prince in Celest? - Yes, Annabelle.
Has a woman ran for Seneschal in Serenwilde?

Manjanaia2005-03-06 18:23:45
OK I'm seeing more and more that my point sucked. I was just wondering though.
Malicia2005-03-06 18:24:18
I don't believe that any woman has run for Seneschal. If one were to, I'm sure that she'd win or gain a vast number of votes.
In spite of this man made world, women make better leaders. It's a fact! We're much more level-headed and decisive. Efficient, even. Men are just greedy.
*grin*

I assume you are just kidding on that last bit, because you know perfectly well that men and women are equal, and are just being facetious. (I think is the word.)
Mejhura ran for Seneschal a while back. Came third.

Im sorry, was it man who first ate the apple in the Garden of Eden? 'tis you women who are the greedy ones and us men who are the only ones capable of intelligent and coherent thought Now get back to the kitchen and make me a sammich!
Silvanus2005-03-06 18:35:49
Even with that obvious joke, the crap that is known as this world would be so offended by that, they'd call you a sexist bastard.
Our world blows.

I don't believe in the story of the Garden of Eden. I think it is a man written story made to play the role of women down. I think throughout history men have done that. The story of pandoras box was made by ancient greeks to justify their dominance over women. I believe also that Mary Magdalene was played down by the apostles (not in the glorified 'the da Vinci Code' way though)
Silvanus2005-03-06 18:47:04
Prime example of how "Our world blows," see above.
Manjanaia2005-03-06 18:49:49
I'm with you Silvanus. Humans have totally screwed the world over.
