Stuff like this makes me wanna go Magnagoran. We have so little RP in Celest (well, RP on that scale anyway).
The most exciting thing that happened was when the Aquamancers threatened to leave, and the city started to argue. Which died down anyway.
Then of course, there was the hilarity of Annabelle and Shiro challenging for Prince.

None of them are actively backed by a city.

When the Glomdoring is ready to go in the cities will start campaigning. No one is backed by a city yet because everyone knows its not happening. As soon as that changes though I'll bet things will change.
Bricriu2005-03-06 21:23:55
Glomdoring is a tainted Forest. That scratches out Celest.
Glomdoring is the antithesis of Serenwilde, which I hear quite often. Scratch them.
Magnagora is wary of Glomdoring seeing as they ARE a commune, even if tainted, but are not out to get them at the point, as the other orgs of the world are. I'd say that is careful neutrality, not running to go back them up.

They will be, though. :/ You might be underestimating people's love for power and...well...being put in events posts. >_<

It's sad that it finally got out. After a good week or so, we've been very, very quiet. Wish Guido hadn't said anything on the forums. Anyway, at least the good stuff ain't posted. The important part, that no one but the disciples, guido, and briclet really knows, beside the Divine involved.
Which I hope, at least as players, they won't divulge it ICly or OOCly. Because that would irritate all involved.
And, for the record, Guido didn't do a lot, from my understanding. In the former disciples, he kinda just was there. And post-that, he would die to spore grass. I do like his summaries, etc, though.
I'll half miss him, as a player. But as a character, Erion'll piss on his grave. Five times a day, facing east, towards Magnagora.
Although, unless you're in the Disciples now, you won't know how Erion, or any of the others whom intend to lead the commune, will react towards the cities. All I'll say is, they all wanna be nuetral towards everyone, except the Serenwilde, for their repeated butchering of Rowena, Brennan, Gib/Wyrm.
And, just as a player to a player. We've been very careful about the people involved. Either you're involved, or you're not. That was a big beef among the characters, that Guido and a couple of the other co-leaders didn't do anything really. That it was all the old disciples and neo disciples working.
Anyway, this is a lot of stuff I'd really rather not our hard work go to waste because some dumb french-connection-united-kingdom tard can't keep IC and OOC seperate.
Because some people can't. They just. Just can't.

Erm, for clarification. We aren't inducting people we know won't do crap. If we get an events post, we'd rather it be people who actually worked for it in it. ^^ And if they'll let it, I'd love for Guido's little bit and Erion (and just about 90% of the Disicples) overthrowing.
Unknown2005-03-06 22:31:57
I didn't do anything? No one did anything. We got nothing done. Not that we didn't try, we just didn't have anything to do.
Oh, and don't call that plethora of longass clhelp files nothing
In the former Disciples I assisted in the raising of Crow, and along with Richter was in charge of most of the later recruitment done. Once again, there wasn't even much to do.
That's all i'll say. *Peer*

s'what I meant by summaries. They were very, very kick arse.
Yrael2005-03-06 22:43:38
Oh, oh, I know, and I'm not in the disciples! Whee! I know, I know!
I'm special.
Erion.

Erion.

Yea, but you promised to stay quiet.
And, I'm pissed now.
At least two Serens have asked me, randomly, whats with the Glomdoring crap. So either people can't draw the IC/OOC line between forums on a grand scale, or these particular players can't, and want in. So, imaginably, I'm pissed.

I hate you. Here is the rundown of a recent coversation.
Person "So can I be in the new DOC"
Me "Huh?"
Person "You know the Erion thing"
Me "I dont speak with Erion"
Person "Arent you his bf?"
Me "Ummm no?"
Person "Okay nevermind then"

See, dumb arses can't keep IC and OOC split apart.
Unknown2005-03-06 22:58:21
Ooh, Ooh, can I join?
Erion2005-03-06 22:59:52
Sure. All Serens who want to join via forums, just bring me the corpse of the following five things. One, Miakoda. Two, Hart. Three, Four, Five are the three Moon Avatars.
Merry bloody christmas.

Unknown2005-03-06 23:00:48
Aw. Your no fun.
Unknown2005-03-07 00:42:52
I'm done roleplaying on Guido, by the way. I'll hang around, i'll chat, i'll cook some sandwiches, but nothing more that matters.
Shamarah2005-03-07 00:44:02
Go Celestian. It's the only place you're not enemied to.
Shiri2005-03-07 00:48:01
Like Guido'd do that, pff. He's too...overt to pretend to be taint-hatin'.
Sad, though. Guido, you better come back be part of Glomdoring leadership when that arrives. You're gonna be one of the few people NOT there just to be all powerhungry and stuff like certain people I could name who I know are going to try doing it for that.

Erion2005-03-07 00:51:13
Shiri, you make me laugh so hard I want to CRY. Guido was THE most powerhungry person in the clan. He was all,"I'LL be commune leader!" and I'm all "whatev." and Richter was all "*innactive*" and Jack was all "*not here for the early part*"
I really hate it when people try to judge those working pro-Glom without even knowing who's involved. If you knew the people involved, you'ld stare and go "wtfsmate?"
