FFX was decent until that scene where Tidus and Yuna laughed/screamed at each other for five minutes. That scene nearly ruined the series for me.

X-2 is an abomination.

FFX is the only rpg game besides Secret of the Stars that I have ever beaten so it will always remain number one

You screwed upon only on the fact that Pong is the true ultimate greatest game ever.

But if it's just RPG's, Chrono Trigger is the best, and nothing else matters.

I simply believe credit must be given where credit is due.

...Squaresoft SUCKS, and stole the battle system for FFT from Ogre Battle Tactics for the SNES, by stealing the designers and using a battle system that was PURE GENIOUS. Sadly, OBT was never released in America, only Japan.

And OBTA (Ogre Battle Tactics Advanced) is NOT the same thing. Grumble. What a disgrace that game was.

FFTA also was a disgrace. OBTA, at least, was kinna cool. FFTA was like pissing in your beer then drinking in it. Except Squarenix made US drink it's beer.

O_o'' What?! FFT was NOTHING like OBT for SNES! The OBT battle system was retarded, you just set them to like..."hit the cripples" or "kill the leader" or whatever, like DQ series and all, and let the stupid pillocks go off on their own, and then randomly win or lose based on how much damage was done...or something.

FFT had the awesome system, where you had a PROPER grid and PROPER control over your dang characters, and the job thing wasn't retarded, and they had the awesome AP thing, and...blahhh. I have NO IDEA what you're on about. The two aren't even comparable.

That's because nix stole it!!!


And OBT was AWESOME. It kicked bloody arse! (even though it took me well over an HOUR to comprehend a single conversation , so my play time was rediculously high.)

OBT was -okay.- It was nothing on FFT. I'm not sure what the comment about nix is about, since it wasn't even merged at the time.

I've subverted myself to calling it nix, even though it was only at the time.

Oh, fair enough. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Enix. I mean, E.V.O was coolish (well, sort of), but I really didn't like most of DQ, except DQM which I spent hours in in two player-ROM with my friend PD on NO$GB. And I can't think of anything decent they did off the top of my head. *squint* I know there was something but eh. Square is 10000 times better.

Oh gods E.V.O. kicked arse. I'm STILL stuck on the final boss, which I only defeated ONCE, and only because I didn't go mammal.


And kept my dragon-change bubble.

For once me and the disturbingly weird and...blasphemer against all true gamers...agree. E.V.O ROCKS. It was a very good game, still a classic in my books, but let us redo the list of true RPG's...
