Hey something I came up with
Under alias put settar then in the field type #set tar $1
now under variables put tar as the variabe and in the field place $1
Tadah! Now whenever you set a key binding just put $tar as the name of the target and you can do all those attacks so much easier and quicker.
*editors note* this is more for people with little experiance looking through these forums for a starting point. I usually use Wintin95 (script based program).

*think* Is that any better than using the in-game
SETALIAS K KICK &T
ST T WHATSHERFACE
K
You kick whatsherface!

you just type settar whatsherface
then say set kick $tar as CTRL-Z as a keybinding and all you have to do to kick whatsherface is hold CTRL and press z... pretty simple, you can set alot of attacks up with CTRL, ALT, NUMPAD and the F1-F12 keys aswell.

Hm, I find pressing a button and enter easier than ctrl+something. I guess I memorise letter sequences better than numbers though. (I have all my things on aliases, like hor is outr horehound;eat horehound;inr horehound. Stuff like that. Whatever works, though, nevermind me.

then make attack an alias and set it as a. A you kick them its that simple, you settar once and it works until you change it. Quite easy indeed.

for my attacks i just use like F5..or one of those keys... no having to press Ctrl at the same time woohoo

Same here, Alexa, but the system I use is ingame rather than JAVA based, the syntax being ST T WHATSHERFACE instead of SETTAR WHATSHERFACE. I can't see any advantage to either way (unless my one's ever so fractionally faster owing to being in the game itself).

i have another way.. in aliases make an alias t
then in the alias box put #set target $1 on the first line
second line : #echo $1
just t
