Logically - No one is going to admit to being an Elder. We need -a- Seer to check randomly and post, -a- guardian to guard said seer, and the other guardian to guard said guardian.
Silvanus2005-03-09 01:35:09
Do you mean no one is going to admit to being a Soulless? I mean.. I'll admit to being an Elder right here. The Soulless know who the other Soulless' are, so they could just vote off any of the other people.
Daganev2005-03-09 01:35:24
I've allready said I'm an elder, what do you mean?
Eldanien2005-03-09 01:37:13
Keeping the guardian's guardian secret, right. This provides the elder gods with the best avenue for surviving.
The trick would be in how fast I can discern who is the seer. Don't tell me if you are. If you do so, I'll assume you're lying, and that you're a soulless. That is, unless you feel you can provide ironclad proof. This seems unlikely, so early on.

How do you know the other Guardian isn't lying, when he says he's going to 'protect' you? I think it'd would've been better if you hadn't admitted you were a Guardian.
Eldanien2005-03-09 01:40:45
I'm making the assumption that the other guardian wants to keep the elder gods alive, and will be willing to take the risk that I was telling the truth. Further, that the other guardian feels that this plan is worthwhile, and thus, will agree to go with it.
I don't anticipate finding out who the other guardian is. I don't need to know who they are, for them to guard me. Call this a calculated gamble.

Silvanus2005-03-09 01:41:29
It'd suck for us if you are wrong
Daganev2005-03-09 01:46:04
Eldanien can't be wrong, unless she is a soulless herself.
Eldanien2005-03-09 01:46:24
Yeah, it would. It was the best plan I could come up with though, and it seemed like I'd have to do more than simply guard at random, stay hush and hope the soulless don't randomly pick me. The odds get worse and worse against us the longer we go without a plan.
He, Daganev. I'm a he.
He, Daganev. I'm a he.
Nayl2005-03-09 03:28:18
The thing is, the Soulless know our plan, and we can't be sure which of the many aren't.... if you follow.
Also, I vote Kaervas was an Elder God.
And that Shamarah is going to get annoyed at at least one of us.
And that Nyla is a soulless.

Yeah, the Soulless can hear our plan, and try to screw us up. What we need is a plan that can withstand such screwing up things.
We have 2 seers, 2 guardians. Hopefully Kaervas was neither. Let's figure out how to use them, quickly.

Only one seer I thought.
Daganev2005-03-09 03:38:06
I figure the last 5 people to talk are soulless and we should vote them off. Even if they arn't, they arn't being active and make it less fun

Ooooo can I be Madonna? or Micheal Jackson?
Jalain2005-03-09 08:47:54
I don't think Silvanus can be anything but a Soulless.. So I vote for him.

Yeah well, vote me off I guess. Even if I don't think I'm among the last. My comp just crashed and burned (literally with smoke and burning smell) yesterday. On the school comp right now, but doesn't look like I'll have time to be active on it for the next few days.
Not telling what I am in case you guys decide not to vote for me, and I'm wrong about being inactive

Nope, if you can find the original thread it says there are two.
Shoshana2005-03-09 12:36:51
Only reason I haven't joined the discussion yet is that I've been asleep and at school I vote that Eldanien is a soulless, especially if he survives the night. What better way to draw suspicion away from you, and if you're lucky get one or both of the guardians tied up defending someone who doesn't need it?
Jack2005-03-09 14:13:55
WOO! BANDWAGON!
I vote Daganev.
I vote Daganev.

Ok - we need -ONE- of our seers to speak. A guardian needs to guard that seer. The other seer needs to check said seer. If said seer is lying (most likely a Soulless) Seer 2 will tell us, and will be guarded from there on out. IF Seer 1 is NOT lying, and IS a seer, Guardian will guard seer 1 and seer 2 will remain silent. If Seer 1 ever dies, Seer 2 will replace Seer 1.
