If I were the seer, my will to survive would refuse to let me give myself away as the seer.
Unknown2005-03-09 17:49:44
That's why the guardian(s) guard the seer.
Daganev2005-03-09 19:35:55
Ok, we now have 5 people who voted for me like I figured would happen. I'm guessing those 5 are the soulless. Not that they voted for me, but that they voted in a block.

those who voted for bobstar change your votes to one of the other 5 people who voted for me, and we can kill one of the soulless.

The soulless are as follows.

Jack
Silvanus
Etranu
Gaetele
Veonira

If I'm wrong and any of them die at night, you can kill me next round. But it makes most sense to me that the 5 souless would vote as a block in order to sway "public opinion."

Remember, I'm voting for the person with the most votes, so vote accordingly.
Shamarah2005-03-09 20:06:38
Current Vote Counts:

Daganev: 5 (or 6, if Daganev is still voting for himself...?)
BobStar: 2
Silvanus: 2
Summer: 1
Nyla: 1
Eldanien: 1

A lot of people haven't actually voted yet, so post those votes. I'll close this tomorrow.
Silvanus2005-03-09 21:24:18
Hmm... Shoshana sounds too clever for me.. I now change my vote to Shoshana.

Edit: I think she is trying to get us to vote off a Guardian.
Eldanien2005-03-09 21:42:23
My gut instinct tells me I was wrong. If Silvanus were soulless, he wouldn't want to reduce the votes to send Daganev away. He wouldn't have voted for Daganev if both of them are soulless. Hence, I tend not to believe that Silvanus is soulless, just a bit heartless. Unless this were a very elaborate ploy to throw off suspicion, under the gamble that Daganev will get voted away anyhow. It seems too unlikely to me. I don't think anyone would take that bet quite so fast.

I change my vote to Shoshana, who just barely hedges out Soll in my eyes.
Unknown2005-03-09 21:51:54
I think Eldanien is trying too hard. I vote for him. *eyeshift*
Shamarah2005-03-09 22:37:24
Daganev: 5
BobStar: 2
Shoshana: 2
Eldanien: 2
Silvanus: 1
Summer: 1
Nyla: 1
Erion2005-03-09 23:51:31
There's only TWO soulless, Dag, not FIVE.

and I change my vote to Shoshana.
Silvanus2005-03-10 00:01:43
There's 5 Soulless.
Unknown2005-03-10 00:11:05
Hee. Silly peoples.

I'm voting for Etanru.
Soll2005-03-10 09:39:44
I'm going to change my vote to Silvanus. I feel he's trying to be too clever by trying to sway votes away from him, and toward Shoshana. My next vote will be for Daganev, who has apparently listed all the Soulless, in the hopes that his 'evidence' will be taken, and votes toward him changed
Shamarah2005-03-10 11:08:14
Daganev pointed out a couple errors I made in tallying the votes, so.

Shoshana: 4
Daganev: 3
Eldanien: 2
Silvanus: 2
Summer: 1
Nyla: 1
Etanru: 1

QUOTE(BobStar)
Ok - we need -ONE- of our seers to speak. A guardian needs to guard that seer. The other seer needs to check said seer. If said seer is lying (most likely a Soulless) Seer 2 will tell us, and will be guarded from there on out. IF Seer 1 is NOT lying, and IS a seer, Guardian will guard seer 1 and seer 2 will remain silent. If Seer 1 ever dies, Seer 2 will replace Seer 1.

I vote BobStar. Following his strategy, I think the most "important" elder gods could be dead / neutralised in 3 days, or nights rather.

Scenario 1:

Assuming a real Seer speaks as Seer 1, and a fake Seer 2 speaks up, saying that 1 is a fake and getting the guardians to guard him/her instead, the Souless can then kill off Seer 1.

If the real Seer 2 speaks up at this point, depending on who the guardians believe, the real seer 2 could end up dead on the next night too.

Scenario 2:

Assuming it is a fake Seer 1 who speaks up first, anyone who says they definitely _aren't_ a Seer would likely be the one of the other 2 seers, who may just as likely end up dead, once again depending on who the guardians believe. We wouldn't know, but the Soulless would. So bad plan all around.

If both guardians announce who they are (so they can decide who to guard who), day 1: kill guardian who is guarding the other guardian, day 2: kill the remaining guardian who is guarding the seer, day 3: kill the seer.

Assuming we still have 2 guardians and 2 seers left, we'd be left with 1 seer after that.

All the above assumings... assuming I'm even making any sense biggrin.gif

And one last thing... all who believe I'm an Elder god, say aye. (on a post here)
Eldanien2005-03-10 11:34:31
Well... this is how my half-baked plan goes.

Other guardian guards me. They keep hush.

Seers do their thing.

Soulless try for me, to see if I'm not guarded. Or they kill other elder gods at random.

Seers find out who is and isn't soulless. With luck, I figure some out too based on who I guard and who does and doesn't die. If I figure out who is a seer (and again, please don't say), then I guard them.

This seems the best way to keep a guardian and seer alive, which is what we need win this. They can try for me, but I'm probably guarded. They can either kill another god and try for me to see if they got the other guardian, or just keep knocking off elder gods.

So like I said, the plan boils down to how fast we can figure out which of us are soulless gods while they try to kill me, or find the guardian guarding me.

As it is, I think I've narrowed down two soulless gods and I've a hunch as to who one of the seers is based on choice of words.

We'll see how it turns out, eh?
Jalain2005-03-10 12:50:14
I change my vote to Eldanien. I still think Silvanus is a soulless and that these two are playing together to try sway the votes.
Summer2005-03-10 13:14:37
Funny how my list and Dag's are kinda the same (and no, I came up with the names before I saw his list).

I vote the following as Soulless:
Shoshana, BobStar, Veonira, Etanru

2 others tied for 5th.
Nyla... maybe. Just because he voted for me tongue.gif

Got a weird idea who one of the seers might be. Wonder if I'm right.

(Note: el ja seer = Litz's oer nm, mb ja, mb senty <- Just a few reminders for myself since I can't note it on my regular comp. Ignore it, unless of course, you know which Litz I'm talking about, in which case, hi! Or if you can actually understand what I'm writing, consider it laugh.gif )

I think Silvanus is just being his usual prickish self (sorry, Silvanus!). I vote we have a Seer (remaining anonymous, naturally) check on Eldanien, and anyone else who claims to be a Guardian/Seer.
Unknown2005-03-10 20:13:58
There's 21 of us. 5 Soulless, 2 Seers, 2 Guardians, 12 regular ol' Elders.

Kaervas is gone. Hopefully he was a regular Elder.

We do need to keep the Guardians/Seers hidden. Seers need to check people randomly (although perhaps someone should check Eldanien to make sure he's not lying). ONLY post if you find a Soulless or if we're close to voting someone off who you know is not a Soulless. ONLY ONE SEER EVER POST. Other Seer can check to make sure that Seer is telling the truth. Eldanien will have to guard that Seer that posts.

Grr, this isn't as easy as I thought. Any other ideas?
