No, please don't post if, as a seer, you discern someone. That just pushes the level of verification back one, where we have to check to see if the seer who spoke is telling the truth. This slows us down more than it would slow down the soulless. Remember, they can still kill someone without us doing much to stop it.

Alright, end of this round now.
Final Vote Count:
Shoshana: 4
Daganev: 3
Eldanien: 3
Silvanus: 2
Summer: 1
Nyla: 1
Etanru: 1
Shoshana is voted off. She is injected with a poison created from a blend of various creatures and environments on the Astral Plane that desecreates Divine essence. As the poison enters her veins, she writhes in pain and begins to liquefy as her very essence saps away from her. Finally, she melts to the ground, nothing more than a puddle of Godly goo.
NIGHT 2
Soulless, PM me with your victim!
Seer(s), if still alive, send me your choice(s)!
Guardian Angel(s), if still alive, send me your choice(s)!

Hmm - is a guarded person protected from being voted out? IF SO - I suggest Eldanien protects himself, always, and we all try to vote Eldanien out in the first day. If not, then hmm. A seer will have to check Eldanien's identity, to make sure he isn't lying.
Jalain2005-03-10 21:02:56
A guardian can't protect him or herself.
Silvanus2005-03-10 21:17:26
Was Shoshana a guardian or a seer? Seems we made a mistake...

Do you mean Elder or Soulless? We arn't told until the end so that we can't keep a count of Elders to Soulless.
Shamarah2005-03-10 21:29:05
Guardians cannot protect themselves.
Guardian protection works only during the night. You cannot protect during the day.
And I'll always say "if still alive" after the first night, so as not to say whether they're alive or not.

Got all the responses in quickly this time, woot.
DAY 2
Nayl is killed in the night. (I'm not feeling imaginative right now. If anyone feels like writing these things for me, send me a PM with whatever you can think up... probably won't get any, but it's worth a try!)
Discuss!

I vote Silvanus. Sorry, your tone changes too often.
Silvanus2005-03-11 01:09:51
Really? The first two posts I made were said jokingly...
I don't know who to vote for now.. I'll vote after I hear some discussion.

*pokes Shamarah* Didn't I vote BobStar? Or did I? *goes check... later*
I have just one question. Can the Soulless kill off one of their own instead of an Elder in the night? And yes, would like the answer really soon if possible.

I probably sound like a Soulless or a really dippy Elder, suggesting something like this. If anyone poke any holes into it, do so quick. If not, we'll follow my plan alright (assuming the Soulless can't kill off one of their own in the night to confuse things up)?
Seers should have 2 names now. If _neither_ of your names were Kaervas or Nayl, and at least 1 Soulless, say so and post the names you're certain of, and whether they are Elder / Soulless. Surely not both seers are dead / tried to verify Kaervas and Nayl right? (Or so I am hoping!)
If you're not a Seer, _don't_ claim to be one. This way, anyone claiming to be a Seer is either a real Seer or a Soulless. But, we do _not_ vote anyone who claims to be a Seer out in the day yet unless there is 4 or more claiming to be Seers, in which case, we kill them all.
Scenario 1: Only 1 claiming to be a seer
(what's the odds that both seers are the first 3 that got killed off?)
One real seer posts -or- One fake seer posts
The guardians guard this seer, and we go with whatever this seer says if no one objects by the next round. If you are the other real seer(s), you need to verify that this is indeed a seer. If you say nothing by the next round, we'll assume that this is a real seer. So, we're all depending on you.
Scenario 2: 2 claiming to be seers.
2 real seers posts -or- 1 real seer and 1 fake seer
Guardians guard both of them (or at least 1 if both guardians decide to pick on the same one). You need to verify each other next. If both support each other, we go with what both of them say, and guardians keep guarding.
If they both claim the other is fake, we ignore both of their lists for now, and the guardians do not guard either. But in if one of the Seers die at night, we follow the dead Seer's list, and kill off the other Seer.
Scenario 3: 3 claiming to be seers
1 real seer, 2 fake seers -or- 2 real seers, 1 fake seer
Guardians guard none of them. The real Seers verify anyone who claims to be a Seer and adds them to the list. If any of the Seers die during the night, we follow their list, and the guardians guard the remaining two.
Scenario 4: 4 or more of them claiming to be Seers.
We play the numbers and kill off all of the Seers and "Seers". Worst case for this is we trade 2 Seers for 2 Soulless. If we don't know for sure who the Seers are, we might as well not have them since we won't trust what they say anyway.
Scenario 5: Pure bad luck
Both seers have already died, and the 1 or 2 claiming to be Seers are actually Soulless, and we all end up killing ourselves. But what's the chance of this right? If we were that unlucky, then we'd lose anyway. *crosses fingers*

Edit: Nevermind... was going to post up 2 clues, but then realised it helps the Soulless more
C'mon, someone else post. Am bored. *urge* Or I'll likely get the boot just for spamming the thread with more speculations.

The Soulless can kill off one of their own if they really want to, but I've never seen that actually happen.
Jalain2005-03-11 11:29:25
I'm sticking with my thought that Eldanien and Silvanus are working together.. and I vote for which ever one of them has the most votes at the end of the day. Or if they are tied, I vote for Silvanus.
Summer2005-03-11 12:21:40
Oh, and my comp got repaired!
(Or so I was told. They better not be lying!)
Should I stay in school and *post post post* or grab dinner and go home? *ponder*
Summer2005-03-11 13:26:47
Oh, and say aye if you agree to my plan.
If you think my plan is bad, say so, and say why. If you just say it's bad, but can't give a why, I'm gonna assume you're Soulless
If no one answers... well... Then my vote goes with *ponder* Erion for now.

Nay.
I've always been against the seer announcing publicly. I think the Seer should PM the people they KNOW aren't soulless, and tell them they know, that they're the seer, and, slowly, gather a group that votes TOGETHER.
This said, Summer's a soulless. I vote for her.

I vote Silvanus because the same reason that everyone else said before me.

I vote Summer.
Summer, yer idea just has too much damage potential. You said yourself - "I probably sound like a Soulless or a really dippy Elder". For safety's sake, I'm guessing the first one.
