I am trying to make a list of things for example.

It depends on the person but I think the normal screen witdth is 30 charachters.

That's the length of one line in the ad. To make it so it wraps neatly, you need to add.. 1 space to the end of the line, then whatever you want on the next line.. like.. so:
Now, the command strips if you've got multiple spaces, so if you've got a big gap and want everything done equally, you need to put '.' I found that if you have 7 spaces in a row, you need 5 '.'s so, being complicated x spaces needs x-2 '.'s..
Eventually, you'll get up to this:

If that's what you wanted. If its not, the line length is all you need, use a fixed with font like courier so you can make sure you've got it right:
