It would be interesting to see a completely original creature. Perhaps something spawned from formess aether? A being of pure ..erm .. sentient .. aether? Able to modify stats at will? Nah .. i wont think about this. But my point remains. Why does every race have to be a derivative of something?

That said .. do cactuses/cactii burn easily? Im just wondering about the fire weakness some people are talking about. I dont know, ive never tried to burn a cactus .. -eyeshift- really .. never.

FF9 was my best though I have got most of the originals.

i love all final fantasys, the newer ones have more health and damage for a wow affect though ff1 has more playability with what i think is a better roleplay environment

Now from my personal obessive opinion, let me start by saying that the best cactus-type attack was FF8 the GF cactus which was called 10,000 needles, and did exactly 1000 hits instantly of 10 damage each. This was a insta kill because the ability to break the 10k barrier did not appear until FF10, thus the insta-kill in FF10 that does 10k is NOT a insta-kill if you are prepared for it. Plus, with things like doublecast, break 10k damage barrier, you can whip out like 30k double hit of ultima if you beef people up very high...ok, i'ma stop now because I never shut up. Let it be known that every moment i'm hunting, I have one hand on the controller, re-beating a FF.

Cactus people should regen under the intense sunlight too, not only in the desert. That said....

FF is lame!

FFVII was one of the best things to happen to the entire -industry-. And blitzball made me want to throw up. I'll take those insane card games over that.

FF6, not 3. And I just used that. The pathetic attempt of ascii graphics which I made was supposed to symbolise Desdemona with large numbers floating above her head.

I still need to play FFVII when i grab some more cash I will ebay it and a PSOne memory card just so I can try what it was all about. And I loved FFX because it didn't require you to max out to beat the game, but getting ribbon/autophoenix/autoprotect/auto-med armour and thumping Nemesis was just awesome to do.

Oh and Stagar - Break HP Limit was horrible. You needed break damage limit on your weapons to heal more than 9999 damage anyway and you really got screwed with any attack that worked on max hp for damage.
