carved into the hard granite of Avechna's Peak. The walls are smooth and cool,
adorned from floor to ceiling with tightly spaced sigils and symbols. These
hieroglyphs glow of their own accord, twisting and squirming, casting
undulating fronds of gold and purple light flickering over the walls and
ceiling. A strange sense of expectancy radiates throughout the chamber, as
though the air is pregnant with momentous events and possibilities. Seething
with arcane energy, the Portal of Fate floats before you. Visaeris is here. He

Blasted trunk.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. The
dark heart of Glomdoring Forest is almost audibly beating in this, its shadowy
centre. Tall, blackened trees surround this clearing, pressing together into an
imposing barrier of rotten vegetation. Moulds and fungi are smeared across the
plants, their pungent stench suffusing the forest. The branches are coated in
dark slime, slick tendrils that hang downwards. Although a variety of trees
might actually grow here, the black tar that coats them renders them
indistinguishable. A thin black mist creeps between the trees, hanging low
across the ground. The floor of the clearing itself is simply bare earth,
cracked and dry. At the centre of this dark glade lies a huge stump of tree,
cracked and broken. Huge shards of wood spike upwards towards the sky where the
great trunk was once attached. Now, there is only this rotting end, a few roots
and some soft wood to show that a tree once stood here. Of the rest of the
plant, there is no sign. The sound of laughing crows echoes down from the
treetops, a harsh sound for the ears below. The atmosphere vibrates with a
palatable power. The blasted trunk of a colossal ravenwood tree
remains here, pulsing with immeasurable and dark power. A sigil in the shape of
a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. Brennan Stormcrow
paces here, his cadaverous body twitching with sudden jerks. Visaeris is here. He

The ground shudders as he chants, and suddenly a huge, twisted root flails from the ground, firing a jet of oily black taint onto the seal, which instantly begins to flake away and crack. As the seal crumbles, Brennan is left holding a small sphere of darkness.

The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. The
variety of trees that crowd around the Moonhart Mother Tree goes beyond count,
elms and alders, beech and cherry, hawthorn and hazel, evergreen and oak, all
dwarfed by the magnificence and majesty of the mother tree herself. The grasses
and shrubs that grow in the surrounding forest become scarce as they approach
the tree, replaced by tiny wildflowers of amethyst-purple and marble-white. The
veil to the ethereal plane is particularly thin, and the laughter of pixies and
other creatures of the fae tinkle down from the treetops and tickle the ears of
those below. The atmosphere itself, although benign and welcoming, also
vibrates with a palpable power, sending shivers up the skin. Singing a
hauntingly beautiful melody, Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart, stands here.
Towering high above is the Moonhart Mother Tree, stretching her enormous
branches heavenwards. Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome

The Pool of Stars.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. The bright sun
shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Meeting in the radiant
heart of New Celest, the broad city streets come together in a large, open
plaza of marbled stone. Rising in the centre of the plaza is a structure of
noble and luminescent pillars which suspend a round, ring-shaped platform
twenty feet above the light-studded surface of the pool below. The atmosphere
within the structure and around the pool bristles with a warm, electrical
energy, giving a slightly disorienting sense of dizziness and euphoria. A
gradually ascending stairway winds its way about the inside of the pillars,
leading towards the upper level of the structure and offering a bird's eye view
of the pool. An enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky, glitters softly between the columns. His form suffused with soft light, the Keeper of the Pool of Stars stands here attentively. The Tainted Moonhart Mother Tree is rocking out here. Visaeris is here.
