You can't even sip while crucified. That's worth 5 power. Not 8, but 5. It isn't a REALLY weak skill, like ancestral/darkmoon.

Damage of crucify depends on your max health, writhing out of it lasts two seconds, the equilibrium time for crucifying is 7 seconds, and the power cost is 8. The followup is sacrifice, which is physically impossible to pull off even in teams against anyone with basic triggers.

Now compare that to heretic, infidel and inquisition. Of course darkmoon and ancestralcurse is even more useless.

It takes longer than 2 seconds. Closer to 6 for me at 10 size. And remember infidel/heretic can be cured by focus spirit.

It'll never, ever, take 6 seconds to writhe from impale or crucifixion, at whatever size. You should time and test before using numbers.

Thats assuming you have balance/eq when they crucify.

You can't writhe off-balance if you are impaled, pinlegged, or crucified.

Then again, I fixed my writhing. Been having to writhe off the cross manually for ages, and I only just now found out why.

I keep coming back expecting a post and finding just Summer's about godly faelings.

Boards do weird things like that sometimes. Usually the other way around for me, though.

Crucify is a great skill. Permanent Anorexia and Slickness untill you writhe off, and you need to have balance in order to start writhing. Not bad at all. It is the most used team combat skill around, and it does a decent amount of damage, and it almost always breaks at least one limb before you writhe off.

See.. now for a bad skill, there is Dark Moon. Dark Moon is worse then Ancestralcurse, because at least Ancestralcurse gives interesting afflictions.

Yeah, and when Narsrim tested, Dark moon gave 2 whole afflictions during its most powerful phase, New Moon. What a screwed up skill.
