well I've had all 3 of those skills. Dark Moon, Ancestralcurse and Crucify and they are all ridiculously useless.

Amaru, where you stunned before you got crucified? I don't remember becoming stunned when Imadis did it to me way back when.

Crucify is not ridiculously useless. It is in the scale of hundreds of times better then Dark Moon.

How often do I get crucified? Alot. How often do people get cursed by Dark Moon? Pretty much never.

Crucify is a crappy skill, dark moon is just crappier .

Aeon and crucify. With his demon on stupidity, shackles, paralysis or something, he could easily have pulled off sacrifice there. Nihilists DO have ways of killing people, they just don't use them much.

And note that crucify stops trueheal.

To me that just looks like bad curing, You still could have writhed out of that if you weren't trying to heal aeon.

I don't have it set up, because I don't ever intend to get crucified and aeoned. That was a lucky 1 in 100, with the afflictions building up and a lucky enigma.

I catacombs'd, hit empress and she died a second before. What else could I do? I tried to save her. I even teleported back in to try sacrifice but she'd already prayed, check your logs.

Notice how they improve Crucified but downgrade Pinleg you can now sip health while Pinlegged which sucks.

Firstly, Celahir, how the hell do you plan on sipping a vial while you're crucified to a freaking huge cross? Pinleg and crucify are two different things - the first I've got a sword sticking into my foot. The second I'm PINNED TO A GIANT CROSS.

Kaervas does know how to use his skills and, by looking at that, he got lucky with the stupidity and getting aeon onto you in the first place. You'll also notice that in the time it took you to finally writhe off only three of your limbs, out of a required four, had been shrivelled.

Unless you're lucky enough to get stupidity and aeon and crucify all onto the person in quick succession, most people that have a writhe trigger will writhe free before you regain eq. And you can't quicken a crucify, unfortunatly. So the only way it really works is against someone that's seriously screwed up (in which case there's easier ways to kill them) or some very lucky teaming.

Now, I'm not saying its a crap skill, its fairly decent, but it takes a lot of luck to get someone to the stage Kaervas got you in that. Also, I'll point out that now you'll likely never get sacrificed.

Personally, I'd probably prefer having Inquisition/Infidel (which, by the last post, isn't guarenteed to get cured by focus spirit) then crucify, but that's just me.
