The difficulty in these puzzles in only in knowing how to click the way they want you to click. I havn't found any of the thinking parts difficult, only not knowing that I'm suppose to randomly click things that allready serve a purpose.

That's why I recommend MOTAS (link posted earlier). Much more logic, much less random clicking.

I tried MOTAS didn't seem any different.

How far did you get? If I remember right (been a while since I played it) the first two or three levels are kinda like that, but they get much better afterwards.

I got up to the paint level where you end with the teleportation chamber, after that I had to go have dinner and havn't gone back there. I think it was level 11 or 13

Alright, perhaps you haven't done this yet then. This specific action won't do anything until after the phone call. Are you sure you have all of the items?

Stuck on the Crimson Room.

I got 3 items. Haven't found a 4th despite clicking and re-clicking everything. The only things I haven't re-done is clicking random numbers and numbers such as 911 on the phone.

The numbers aren't right...

I know 911 isn't right. That was when I was trying out random numbers. I already made the phonecall that some creepy guy picked up. Unless you're telling me there's a second right number.
