I'm sort of inclined to agree with Murphy on this one, actually. If I'm raiding, fine, stop me, but you STILL killed me, even if it was for a good reason. I don't think many real people would just admit that it was justified to try to kill them, because REAL people almost always think they're doing the right thing. :/ So hunting people because of it, yeah.

Oh OK. You're going on a killing spree so damnit nobody better kill you because you'll get mad about it. Yes, you could claim this is RP (In Achaea you'd be quickly shrubbed). Then you could consider the reality and gravity of the situation, as well as the consequences. Some people just need to face the fact that their hot headed nature gives them and the people who harbor them a horrible image.

Well...yeah. I mean, if anyone goes on a killing spree, they're either totally insane or they think they're like, doing it for the greater good, or killing evil scum, or something. So they wouldn't just like...grin and bear it if the people they were attacking were defended by some other people. They're getting in the way of your righteous cause, man! So, y'know.

OR the person is trying to cause trouble where ever with a group he's either gathered up or is tagging along with. HE/SHE then get smacked up for being the bully they were trying to be, and feel like they've been wronged and must rectify the situation.

You're more then welcome to take this approach, but then you and whoever allows you to be in the organization will start to cement the image of a punk. And as I said previously, you're going to get ganged if you are a punk.

WTF is a Dark Knight supposed to do? As far as an Ur'guard is concerned, they are on their own form of crusade.. and, lets look at real life. During the REAL Crusades, part of the defense to send MORE people over to kill the "infidels" was the fact that they were killing the knights who were there trying to kill them.

So.. again.. in a zealous warrior situation.. explain to me again why loss can't be a reason to hate your enemy?

I'm so tired of people dissing other's roleplay just because they're character's get the shaft. That is like saying a thief is a bad RPer because they steal as much as they can from you.

If I'm reading correctly, I don't think Singollo's saying its bad RP, she's just saying it's RP that's gonna have consequences. People will tend to gang up on groups who do that sort of thing, because there are a lot of characters who want to uphold some sense of justice.

The tone I got from it, is her saying "You COULD look at it as good RP, or you could look at it for what it really is, someone who is a PK whore going around causing trouble and throwing a fit when they lose"

That is what it really boils down to in aout 90% of the cases. But it is justifiable RP wise, thinnly. Personal revenge generally connotates that you were the one attacked, not that you were attacking and failed.

The strange thing is, as far as I know (the chaos one is the one I don't know) is that all of these people are active PKers, fight often, and raid Magnagora when given the chance. I thought Karma was a way to curb unnesscary PK.
